The hostess is so gracious and the hotel is cozy. We loved looking into the small garden from our room. I would highly recommend the Hotel Canada to anyone staying near the Duomo and other attractions.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and the owner was very helpful , it's just a minute from the cathedral. We had a room with shared bathroom which wasn't really a problem again the bathroom was very clean. The room was quite spacious and there were nice little touches like magazines to read. The hotel has been recently refurbished. There is...

We enjoyed the location of this place it is nice and central in Florence for sight seeing the near the train station. However, you must be prepared for the weird rules of the owner such as a 1am curfew and handing in your keys every time you go out and having to pay cash on arrival. It is very noisy...

Spent one night in a double room with private external bathroom (next door to the room). Try to book a room with private bathroom as they face the courtyard and there's no noise from the street. Obviously recently renovated, very clean and well-maintained, plain but tasteful decor. Pleasant scent and music in public areas. The host requires discipline (curfew, leaving...

I was delighted with the location of Pensione Canada; just around the corner was the Piazza del Duomo, across the street was an excellent supermarket and there were amazing places to see nearby. A wonderful lady was there to greet me. She showed me the room and the shared facilities. The place was small and just sooo clean & well...

Very Very Clean, and very friendly. Very close to Duomo and square and 10 minute walk from main railway station. Would stay again. This close to the Duomo you will hear the bells in fact we could see them from our room.

Clean rooms, excellent location (100 meters from the Dome - this can be an issue for the light sleepers) and wonderful staff. The lady from the reception was extremely nice and offered us all info needed, and also had no problem in keeping our luggage at the hotel after the check out.

This accommodation is very clean and comfortable, and it is exceptionally well located right near the Duomo and its square. Walk two blocks away from the action and you are in family run cafes and where the locals live - you are welcomed there. On the down side, our room had very little space around the beds. It has shared...

“Some rooms have private bathrooms, some are shared (the shared ones at least have a sink though). We were on the side facing the street and it was quite noisy, not sure about noise levels in other rooms. Up 3 flights of stairs, so make sure you have good knees (I didn't see an elevator - don't think there was one)”
