Advantages: the room was clean and the beds comfortable. The staff members are kind. The location of the hotel is very good (walk distance of Duomo, Uffizy gallery,...) Disadvantages: only 2 outlets for the room, you have to choose between the fan, the bedside lamp, the mosquito repeller or charge your cell phone. No hairdryer (not a problem during the... More

Nice hotel in Florence, affordable price nice. Localization it's very good, don't give the 5 start because use a smell to ambient every room and don't like so much, but it's clean, the staff it's nice and it's close to every spot in Florence, will come again for sure

This hotel was the only bad exception from the places we stayed at during our Italian roadtrip. The location of the hotel is great, it's very close to the historic city center. The garden was beautiful, but we couldn't enjoy it more than five minutes during the evening because of the mosquitoes. Our car was parked behind closed gates, it... More

The monastery has helped the Holicaust survivors. Now they have converted most of the convent into a hotel. Awesome historic building. There are great old furniture in it. You actually use them, sit on them. However the rooms has basic necessities. Nothing extravagant . Dont expect a luxury accomodation. Just basic but nice enviorement. High ceilings. Creepy at night ;)... More

The staff are very helpful and friendly and the rooms clean. The breakfast is simple but good. For a family of 5, we booked two rooms - both with washrooms. The courtyard is a nice quiet place to relax in the midst of busy Florence. Also a number of common rooms. We played games in one of them that opens... More

Not what I expect to have in my family vacations. Got a big room for 4. Here what's inside: Six single beds with small coffee tables in between, two basic cloth chests and one table and two or tree chairs... honestly it felt like a test, a weird experiment, or atonement. We had bathroom inside the room that was a... More

I tend to stay a little off the beaten path but walking distance to the city center. These accommodations are in an old monastery in a local neighborhood with great restaurants. The room we had for 3 was spacious and the breakfast in the morning offered good variety to start the day. We arrived in Florence by train and this... More

This hotel is great if you're looking to stay in an area of Florence with more locals than tourists. There are lots of great local places to eat nearby (without the ridiculously high prices) and the hotel is only a short walk over the river to the main tourist attractions. The rooms are very basic but all you need is... More

A poor start with a rude receptionist. The introduction to the rooms was poor they look like cells with no TV and what appears to be a bedsheet for a towel. Our bathroom was in our room but because of the position of the window there was an opening that connected us with next door and the noises that accompany... More

We enjoyed our stay here and learning the history of the building, the convent, and surrounding area. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, but is close to several restaurants and amenities. There is a beautiful, quiet courtyard garden. Our room was large and had beautiful, antique furnishings. The painted ceilings, marble floors, and detailed woodwork provided a beautiful,... More
