The JK is extraordinary, it is like being a guest in an elegant home with the warmest of hosts. The rooms are luxurious and the design lovely but what makes it special is the staff. From your welcome in what feels like a cosy study, to never having to give your name or sign for anything, it is like being greeted and looked after by friends. Lovely food and excellent restaurant recommendations. Lorenzo also organised two super trips, one a private day trip around the Tuscan vineyards and to Siena, one a walking tour of Florence. One small tip - a bell on tables (like in Japan) to call staff from the terrace might be useful? But that is a tiny suggestion - how otherwise do you improve on perfection? We almost don't want to go to another JK in case it isn't so special. I was there for my birthday and was given a little cake and a gift of their wonderful "house room scent" - I'd asked where to buy it so a thoughtful choice.…

What a treat. We fell in love with this hotel that doesn’t feel anything at all like a hotel but more like a cozy home. We were treated like family by Maria, Lily and Fredrick and the entire crew who cared for our every need. We were greeted with a welcome drink and showed to our adorable room that also contained a welcoming bottle of Prosecco and yummy snacks. The Pink Room is simply adorable! While we only stayed one night, we experienced the treat of a lifetime. Thank you! You have perfected hospitality❤️.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The staff is incredibly nice, professional, and attentive. They go above and beyond anything I’ve ever seen. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Overall the stay here was a very lovely experience.

Although it is not a large hotel with many amenities, it is beautiful, and each room is unique and different from the others, with the best service in Florence! We had three separate rooms for ourselves and two teens. Impeccable attention to your every need, including getting us coffee in the morning from the cafe, holding the heavy keys while we leave for the day, recognizing who we are, planning excursions and airport limos for us with ease and great care. They have a fantastic cafe attached to their hotel, and their location is prime. Walking distance to the river and shops and sights, and in a beautiful square. I highly recommend this for you.
