We can't say enough good things about globus hotel. After traveling for over a week our air bnb lodgings fell through and we had to quickly find a place to stay. The staff at globus were very understanding and helpful. They had openings and showed us the room before we committed we felt very taken care of. Then we stayed...

My priority when looking for a hotel is always location. If you are also someone who likes being in the action and able to walk to most major attractions, this hotel is the right one for you. It’s pretty much on the same street as the leather market, steps away from restaurants and shops and less than one block away...

The hotel is conveniently located about 5 mins walk from SMN Train Station and just a few steps away from Florence's Leather Market/other tourist attractions. Whilst the rooms are pretty small (most European hotels are anyway), it is very clean and decorated with a nice, modern touch. Breakfast was great (M&M's!!)

This hotel was such a cute addition to our girls trip! There was 10 of us in 3 rooms... and plenty of space! The rooms are very modern and decorated nicely. When we first arrived to the hotel, we were greeted by the nicest gentleman at the front desk. He offered many options to pass time while we waited for...

Hotel Globus is a lovely modern hotel. It is convenient to the Santa Maria Novella train station, well appointed, and run by friendly staff. The room was of moderate size for a European hotel (Small by American standards) and decorated in a modern style. The bathroom had a decent sized shower (I am 6'2" and 265 lbs. I was able...

Nice and warm welcoming people in hotel Globus in city center of Florence. The whole city at walking distance. The breakfast is very good and they serve perfect espressos in the morning. I was traveling alone and got a room at the street side, which was very noisy. So when checking in: ask a room at backside of the hotel....

The hotel is ideally situated in a lovely walking area in Florence. The staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms were very efficient and clean. Breakfast was also very good. We had two kids with us, and a room with two full beds worked well. I highly recommend this property.

We really appreciated the restaurant staff who were really nice and at your disposal. We enjoyed the evening drink offered by the hotel. Nice before before going out to eat. Our room was really nice, and we also had the chance to enjoy a small balcony with a San Lorenzo Cathedrale view. Concerning the beds, it was okay. A bit...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel Globus was completely renovated in June 2016. The new reception area, located on the street level of Via Sant'Antonino, is now connected to all rooms thanks to our new elevator. The new breakfast area overlooks a small courtyard with a nice vertical garden. Our staff is a mixture of all ages, languages, cultures and countries, always smiling and willing to offer you tips on places to visit, restaurants to try. They're always there for you. For what regards our location, it is definitely one of the key features of Globus. The proximity to all the Santa Maria Novella train station and all main attractions, including the Duomo, both major museums (Uffizi and Accademia Galleries) or Ponte Vecchio, among others, makes it very easy to plan even the busiest day without the need to lose time getting from the hotel to your desired location. What makes our neighbourhood special though is definitely the Mercato Centrale, located just around the corner from here. In the morning, that is where you want to go if you're planning to buy some food to take back home, or simply want to try the famous Tuscan specialties, "trippa" and "lampredotto". Where this place shines though is the 1st floor, open from 10am until midnight. It's a big, modern open space with many restaurants, serving a variety of really delicious food. Make sure to check it out! ... more   less
