We couldn't have asked for a better location for our stay at the end of September. A little tucked away on a quiet street but two street away from the hustle and bustle of the Shopping District & Ponte Vecchio. Upon check-in we were kindly greeted and provided with a city map outlining recommended places for lunch, dinner, gelato, museums...

Stayed here after finding the spot on hotels.com. Staff was super responsive prior to our arrival and was open and honest as to what to expect from a travel perspective (directions from the train station, walking up a number of stairs to the elevator from the front door). We were welcomed upon arrival with a thorough review of a Florence...

We stayed from the 4th - 7th Sept and well, we did not expect what we found. It is a bit tucked away and you have to go up an initial flight of 20 stairs but you could not be more central for everything even if you tried. This is not a hotel, it is a guest house and the...

This is a beautiful hotel in an ideal location. Couldn't have been better positioned. The room was very pleasant, and the shower was superb. My only disappointment was with the bed, which was very hard, but that wouldn't prevent me from coming back. We stayed in the Botticelli room, which had a lovely view over the Old Market. The arrangements...

We came in May 2011 and returned this month. Very thing as last time was 100%, will return on our next visit to Florence. The location of the premises are very central and so within easy walking distance.

We truly found a pot of gold within the streets of Florence! I loved the feeling of being in an apartment with the comfort of a B&B. I must admit - as we walked up the dimly lit stairwell, we were not sure what to expect. Yet, when we opened the door into the sitting area, we were so pleasantly...

Very nice room. Unfortunately we were only there for a short time. It is centrally located - we walked to some great sights, restaurants. Interior of room beautifully decorated and very clean. Would definitely stay there again.

This guest house is exactly as described on Tripadvisor and elsewhere. It is a centrally based, carefully furnished and decorated apartment which gives you a real sense of being in the heart of Florence. The welcome is charming and warm and gives you useful info about restaurants, sights and shops. Breakfast is a do it yourself affair, fine but we...

This is the perfect location. A wonderfully quaint, comfortable, clean place to stay. It is hard to do it justice - the rooms were peaceful havens. We loved the communal kitchen area. It does not say breakfast is included but there was more than ample provisions there for breakfast or snacks during the day. Francesca and Aiko were really friendly...

I can't say enough about the beauty and calm of these rooms, this location. It's perfect and the owners have managed to preserve this charm for visitors. The decoration is perfect, the rooms the ideal size, and the facilities adapted. The location is key, very very central. Evidently a lot of renovation work has taken place, as you don't hear...

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
