Great hotel with amazingly personal and friendly service, this was easily the best hotel during our tour around Italy. We were in the annex in a huge room that could have slept 5 comfortably, room had great character and was really close to everything. Thank...More
We got room 2 and no view of the Duomo. A nice, treed parking area. But it's large and has its own bathroom with shower and a plug that accepts my wife's hair drier and curler.... not just electric razors.
Perfect location for touring five...More
This hotel has a terrific location - you can see the Duomo from your bedroom! There are 2 shared bathrooms, which could benefit from some minor upgrades. Our room was relatively small. Although there is no breakfast room, they do leave you some croissants, toast,...More
The hotel is a block or so away from the architectural wonder of its time The Duomo in Florence. The rooms are bare with little warmth and the shared bathrooms need some updating. However, the location can't be beat and the staff was warm and...More

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
