The rooms are quite hard to find as the reception is upstairs, but once step into our room, I realized that I found a hidden gem. Huge room, huge bed, huge tv, huge shower room and excellent water pressure! Although the breakfast was a bit too basic, the hotel room did allow a very good sleep and a nice shower...

You couldn't ask for a better location for this hotel. Just steps from the Ponte Vecchio you are a short walk to all the major sites. The hotel was a little hard to find and it was tough getting our bags to the room and in the narrow elevator. However, we packed heavy. There are steps galore and winding hallways...

We stayed in the Purple Room. Huge, clean, comfortable. The bed was enormous and as for the bathroom - WOW!!!! The shower and the bath were amazing. This guesthouse is part of La Scaletta Hotel with Breakfast included. The breakfast was very good, my only criticism is that the food was lukewarm rather than hot, but it was tasty and...

Stayed in the Purple Suite. It was a gigantic bedroom by Italian (and even North American) standards, with a lot of closets, big and comfy bed and a big, modern bathroom - two sinks, modern shower, etc... Location was amazing, just steps from Ponte Vecchio. The Purple Suite faces the busy street leading to the bridge, but with the windows...

The beds are big and of a good quality. The room was perfectly clean. Internet was quick and also the laptop in the hall of the guesthouse was an extra...

The room was incredibly spacious, comfortable, and clean. All the amenities of the hotel with the feel of a private luxury suite. Staff were friendly and helpful. In our opinion an ideal location just south of Ponte Vecchio - walking distance from sights, restaurants, transport, etc. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Florence.

Just returned from a 5-night stay in Blue Suite at Uffizi Guesthouse, Florence, Italy, sister hotel to Hotel Scaletta on Via de Guicciardini. Everything was perfect: comfort, size and amenities of the room and bathroom, location perfect for key sites but away from street noise, so quiet and comforting to come home to, free wifi worked great, the room was...

We have stayed at La Scaletta before, so we were very intrigued by this new addition to their property. It was far beyond our expectations! We stayed in the "Brown" room. The suite is huge, even by American hotel standards. It is at least 3 times as big as the room we had stayed in at La Scaletta. The room...

A stay at the Uffizi Guesthouse is having a large private bedroom, bath, TV & Internet, in a fantastic location at an amazing price! Easy access to The Hotel La Scalletta which provides excellent hospitality to all Uffizi Guesthouse guests. A private courtyard entrance leads to either the elevator (smaller than usual but sufficient) or one flight of stairs to...

Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
