We stayed in the two bedroom suite with another couple. The unit was clean, modern and very comfortable - two bedrooms each with a king bed and two bathrooms. Common area and 4 tvs!. The roof top deck was a pleasant surprise. The staff - front desk (Francesco in particular - however all were wonderful and helpful), as well at the lounge bartender (Marco), catered to our every need and want. Breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect. One block from the Uffizi; right on the Ponte Vecchio and an easy walk to other attractions, restaurants etc. We really enjoyed this hotel and highly recommend it.
The experience we had here over the two nights we spent here was great. Feom check-in to check out and in between everythng met or exceeded expectations. All the staff we interacted with were nice and professional. The rooms were clean and well maintained. the breakfast was excellent, as was the staff that worked there. Most of the major sight in the historic district are within a few minutes walking distance. Also conveniently located are shops, restaurants and bars. The only reason for not receiving an overall excelent was the beds were extremely hard. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again in the future.
Our son and daughter-in-law recommended the Hotel Degli Orafi to us after their stay a couple of years ago. We're so glad we took their advice. The location, accommodations, food and staff were just what we hoped for. While we appreciated the efforts of the entire staff to make us feel comfortable, we want to give special kudos to Francesco, who offered excellent restaurant advice and directions. Location? Our walk to the Uffizi entrance for our small-group tour took less than 2 minutes. The Galileo Museum took about 30 seconds longer. The following day we headed to the Pitti Palace for a tour; total walk time was 7 minutes. Santa Croce, the Duomo, the central market--everywhere we wanted to go was a short walk from the hotel. Breakfast was delightful in a room with wonderful painted barrel-vaulted ceiling, and we enjoyed the views and service in the rooftop bar. We were too tired to go out one evening, and we were surprised at the quality of the food in the bar. Comfortable room with a good shower--we have nothing but good things to say about the hotel. We 4 Texans appreciated the hospitality!…
Let me say we are seasoned travelers with moderate to high expectations of service. Price was fair, location great,4 blocks to Douma and Pitti palace lots of food and shopping . Hotel had all the charm of Florence along with being very clean. Front desk was amazing but a special shout out to Francesco HE WAS AMAZING! Everyone was attentive except 2 of the bartenders at the bar. Friendly not attentive.Forgot their names but one young man was pretty good. The bar was very cozy not very active Could be the low season Free breakfast was great not American though but that was ok People working were exceptionally amazing. They deserved a 4 ranking due to the 2 bartender's but could not do that because all others were amazing. Thanks to all of you!!!!! Would definatley stay again.
What a lovely hotel located right in the center of Florence within walking distance of museums, restaurants and shopping. The hotel was clean and well-maintained and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, hot and fresh. Next time I come to Florence I am definitely staying here again! Thank you.
