Situated just three kilometres far from the historical centre of Florence, this little gem of a hotel overlooks the beautiful hillside countryside around the town. The nine spacious rooms are immaculately styled reflecting the owners' impeccable taste and attention to detail: parquet floors, matching fabrics for beds and drapes, and spacious sparkling-white bathrooms. The panoramic terrace and quiet gardens are the perfect locations for a drink, a lovely pool has gorgeous hillside views over olive groves.

This was the perfect base for our family holiday. The hotel is immaculately clean, comfortable and spacious. Because there are only ten rooms, you often have the pool or the lounge to yourself. The vibe is low-key and comfortable - genuinely relaxing and charming! The staff are friendly and knowledgable, they helped make our holiday our best ever and we owe them our thanks. Definitely ask Lorenzo to arrange a wine tour, or other visits in the region. We arrived late on the first night and the food Angela made up for us was the best meal of the holiday (which is saying something for this part of the world). The centre of Florence is a short drive or bus away, there's a supermarket (and bus stop) a 10 minute walk away, if that's your sort of thing, or you can just relax at the hotel in perfect luxury.

Our week-long stay at the Marignolle villa was absolutely wonderful and so memorable. We were a rather large group of first cousins traveling in Italy together and had the entire main house during our stay. The accommodations are so lovely and clean and met all of our needs. I can't say enough about Lorenzo and his staff. We had originally booked to go there in 2021 and had to postpone until 2022 and Lorenzo moved our reservation and kept in touch the entire time. While we were there, they were all so accommodating. They literally made everything we asked for happen, even if it was a last-minute request. Plus, Lorenzo planned and booked two day-trips for us that included visiting other Tuscan towns and enjoying wine tastings at two wineries. Those days were so great and we were able to get to towns that we probably would not have otherwise had the inkling or chance to go to. He made all of the arrangements for those days. He also planned a couple of dinners for our group at the villa and chose wines to pair with those dinners. He even made sure we got back and forth into Florence city center during a taxi strike! Our stay there was spectacular and we had such a memorable experience there. Staying in Florence city center is great because you are in the middle of everything and can walk to many venues. However, being just outside of the city has its advantages as well. The countryside is so quiet and peaceful, so this time it was nice to be able to get out of the crowds and noise. I would highly recommend Marignolle Relais & Charme, especially for groups. Beautiful accommodations, breathtaking landscape and scenery, and 5-star service make it a winner!!

We stayed at this place in July 2022 as a family of 4. The place is very beautiful full of details in each corner. Quiet and peaceful. We booked this place expecting it was the typical Italian agroturismo where you get to chat with the family and get introduced to Italian gastronomy and culture. Unfortunately it’s not like this. You don’t meet the staff, nobody shows you the place and you are at your own all the time. With only 10 rooms they could be more dedicated to their customers. I asked at the reception for a trip to a winery but they couldn’t help much. Even they said they can book wine testing tour. They couldn’t find a tour for us. You cannot stay here if you don’t have a car. It’s not possible to walk from and to the place. Only by car. They have a restaurant but only if you book in advance. We didn’t book any meal so we had to take the car to buy something to eat. Even if the nearest supermarket is only 1 km away you need a car. - Room: spacious and vey beautiful. Romantic style. - Breakfast: VERY POOR for the price they charge. Only sweet things as croissants and muffins and toast bread with butter. And yoghurt. If you want cheese or charcuterie you have to pay extra 6-8 € per each. The service here was good! Marguerite ( I think that was her name) was amazing and always smiling. - Restaurant: no restaurant open during the day. Only lunch and dinner but you have to book in advance. They have a kitchen where they can prepare a sandwich. - Pool: small pool but fine. Beautiful surroundings. I would not recommend for families or young couples.

The place was amazing, nice little view on Tuscany's hills just 15 Min from Florence city center. The pool was very cozy and not much crowded. The bad side was that it was very close to a noisy street and we could hear annoying car noises. Also, we paid 33€ for two lattuce, tomatoes and mozzarella salads and a bottle of water. That was insane. I would recommend going there without using the restaurant service.

Yes it is charming, like being in your own big house. Rooms are a decent size. Breakfast in the gazebo is nice, though not a lot of variety offered. Adding some cheese, sliced tomatoes or even breakfast potatoes to the offering would be nice to enjoy in the setting. Cabs are easily available and we rented a car for a day for which there is parking. I think though we would have preferred to stay in town itself to be able to roam around longer after supper (without having to find a cab) or explore Florence more early in the morning before our flight. That’s just a personal preference as we prefer to be in the middle of the action. (Also as please provide hair conditioner along with shampoo!)

We traveled to Florence as a family, group of 8, including my 88 year old grandmother. The property felt like a home away from home. The common areas, the rooms, the bathrooms were all spotless. The beds were very clean and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful as was the pool. There are 2-3 rooms on the ground level itself, and my grandmother stayed in one of those, so she didnt need to climb any stairs. There are a few steep steps to the pool though, but once you get there the view is lovely. The location is a 12-15 minute drive from the centre of town. All taxis knew the hotel so it was easy to get home. Because the town itself was so full of tourists, it was a relief to have this beautiful space to come back to. Secondly, the staff - we had a fantastic experience. It was my Dad's 60th birthday and the team prepared a special (and absolutely delicious) meal and ordered us the yummiest cake. They had champagne and candles set up at the dinner table. They went above and beyond. My grandmother was a bit unwell while we were there and the staff looked after her as if she was family. For the wine tour Lorenzo took us himself to a friends vineyard - what a fun the experience. We did not feel like tourists, but friends visiting friends. If you want to stay at a very beautiful boutique property and get a sense of real Italian culture and hospitality, then this is the place for you. Thank you Lorenzo and family, we hope to be back someday!

My husband and I traveled to Tuscany to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. I'm so thrilled we discovered this heavenly property through Trip Advisor. To say we LOVED it would be an understatement. From the moment we arrived it was perfect; the welcoming, the residence, our accommodation, the gardens, the breakfast buffet, the special dinners....every single day was perfect! The location couldn't have been better....close enough to everything and far enough to breath in the beauty of the Tuscan Hills. Thank you Lorenzo to you, your family and your staff for creating and maintaining this 'heavenly' residence! We are very much looking forward to returning...and staying longer!

Beautiful, elegant location outside of Florence. They did not have service to take us to the city but taxis were easy to get. The breakfast was delicious and the courtyard was relaxing. Yes, I would go back!

The room, the meals, the common living room, the gazebo; all were spectacular and extremely clean. The most extraordinary part of our stay at Le Marignolle was the quality of the team: amazing! We lost our rental car key in a taxi and they managed to trace the company taxi, the taxi driver, and to get the key back at the hotel! We stayed before this trip to some AirBnb; there is no way that they could have helped us with situations like this; and a toll ticket that was resolved by the team; again, an extraordinary team! Also, the services that they organize for restaurants, wine tours; spectacular experience! and a marvelous pool! Congratulations!

We were looking for a place in the Tuscan countryside but close to Florence and this place was perfect! The grounds and pool were immaculate and felt like Tuscan Heaven. The rooms were a very nice size and I felt like I was in my own little villa. Lorenzo took care of anything we needed including being our guide on a Chianti tour. Definitely recommend going to the winery which includes lunch - Amazing food and Chianti! We set the tour up with Lorenzo before we arrived and he also got us the skip the line tickets to the Uffizi and recommended a wonderful place for Florentine Steak. The Cab to Florence was about $20. We were also able to take the 15 minute beautiful countryside walk into town for Mass. I definitely hope to be back one day!
