I stayed at the Hotel Botticelli for two nights in a single room, room no. 116. The Hotel itself is located very well in the heart of the old city center. Breakfast room and lobby are nice. However, I cannot fully recommend the hotel due to my bad experiences with room 116 which is so tiny that it must have...

Location: Hotel is very well placed. The Duomo is no more than 5 minutes on foot. San Lorenzo market is in the square right next to the hotel allowing to get a quick lunch. The area around is packed with numerous very well rated Osterias and restaurants for good dinner. Hotel: I must say I overrated it a little bit...

The hotel looks old. The room is a little tight. The bathroom is very small. The breakfast is very basic. Those are the issues. And they were not that bad. Nothing that would ruin the stay. On the contrary, the attention and the politeness of the people working there made those issues irrelevant. And the location is a plus. 5...

My husband and I stayed here for four days and loved it! Beautiful building, comfy rooms, immaculate cleanliness. But there are two highlights: 1) the location can't be beat! An easy walk from the train station and so centrally located you can easily walk to all major sites. The Central Mercado is just around the corner and became a favorite...

Stayed 3 nights. Room was very clean, tidy and comfortable. Not particularly exciting decor but we weren't in Florence to spend time in a hotel room. Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast and coffee good. Would be happy to stay again.

Very disappointed with this hotel. Our room was claustrophobic as it was so small. One window which looked onto a windowed courtyard area and dark bathroom. We asked for an upgrade, which was better but the furnishings were still the same, and are old, cheap and tired. Breakfast was horrible, nothing to write home about, dry rolls and revolting coffee. We ate out...

Comfortable. Friendly. Extremely helpful front desk staff spoke English and French very well. Location was just right for my purposes -- outside the hurly burly of the centre but a quick walk (10-15 minutes) to everything of interest.

Had 4 nights here. A quaint, typing V Cal Italian environment we like when we are traveling. It was in the middle of everything so very handy. Breakfast was ok. But nothing hot. And no jug. Tea, coffee in the rooms. I think it's a European thing. I notice a lot of these hotels don't. But it would be nice....

It was a beautiful hotel in a perfect location. The staff was friendly and personable. The rooms were cute and clean. Good TV channels and I would definitely stay there again. I didn't get a chance to try breakfast because I was out and about late and then got up early but I did have some coffee the day I...

We booked a holiday with British Airways and this hotel was one of the options. Saw decent reviews so chose it and we were not disappointed. First time in Florence and staff suggested places to go, and how to get there. Room was comfortable and well appointed. The balcony was a nice space to watch the world go by, and,...
