Great Hotel. Excellent Location, Very Clean and spacious rooms. We had the rooms facing the street. The bathrooms are extremely small but ver yclean so one can manage. There was a girl at the counter, sadly, I don't know her name but she was extremely extremely friendly and very accommodating. Self entry after 11pm. Breafkast is decent too. Safe location.

We purchased a Groupon and this hotel was in the package. It's definitely different from places we've stayed before. It's small but has a nice charm to it. It's not the Hilton, but it's definitely an experience. We haven't had a problem with the water heater as other reviewers have claimed. But then again we shower before 9 pm. The... More

We stayed at the Climate as part of a package with Go Travel. I had read some bad reviews of this hotel and unfortunately I have to agree with some of them. But first the pros. This hotel is in a very good location, within easy walking distance to all the sites and a short 10€ taxi from the train... More

Dear Jenny, thank you for comment. We are glad that you appreciate our position and also our staff. We are sorry for the problem with hot water; unfortunately it happens sometimes but we have central heating that works with timetables for the whole building and so guests have always water and heating in their room. We hope to host you... More

My first piece of advice if you're arriving at the train station in Florence is to foot the 12 euro for a cab to Hotel Cimabue. Accustomed to 30 euro cab rides, we decided to walk the 1/2 mile or so to our hotel with our luggage, which ordinarily would not have been an issue, but the cobblestone roads and... More

Dear Jenny, thank you for your comment. We are glad that you appreciate our position, our staff and our breakfast. As written in our website the rooms are available for the check-in from 2.30pm/3.00pm; for this reason we have a deposit where guest can leave their luggage without paying nothing; the room for deposit was full so you left them... On first arrival we were met by a nice young manager that spoke English fairly well and was very friendly. Our room was clean and of ample size. The breakfast was decent. Not a large selection but what was offered was fine. Then I find out that they apparently make it where the hot water(or heat although we never needed... More

Cute very old hotel really close to main attractions, within walking distance of city centre. Some of the Staff not too friendly. Building is really old, so rooms are very outdated and small. Breakfast was ok. You have to leave the room' s key every time you go out. Wi-Fi very bad.

This hotel is old, has a "particular" smell and the front desk people are very rude. The location is not the best since you have to walk for about 15 mins through dark streets before getting to the main area. There is no working elevator to go up, you can only take it to go down... The doors are locked... More

So far, so good. I like the Cimabue, but I can see why many might not. It's an acquired taste. It has quirks, and isn't a "typical" hotel. It's actually very beautiful, our room, #114, on the ground floor, is very close to El Salottino, or the sitting area back behind the front desk. It's one of the rooms with... More

The hotel is quite old and dark. It is noisy from the street traffic. The room was clean and the staff was somewhat friendly. The wifi only worked near the front desk, not in our room. The breakfast was OK. They said they had a bar but we never seen it opened. The location was OK, not far from the... More

Florence is a great city, you may just want to stay somewhere else. Our room is a large closet. When you set your suitcases out, they and the bed take up the whole room. It is clear that no money is spent on upkeep or updating. To the old window (that when closed) has a breeze blowing in constantly (the... More
