Love this B&B as its centrally located and value for money. The person who in charge of check in quite friendly. The room comes with living room which is spacious enough with a high decorated ceiling. Its made you feel like you are staying in one of renaissance palaces. The B&B provide free minibar instead of breakfast. We found its...

The apartment is excellently furnished. We were able to cook breakfast. The washing machine was of big help. Although there was no dryer, they provided a rack to hang our clothes. Francesco and his mom were very nice. Steep and narrow stairs but we knew that. No problem with the bags as Francesco helped with them. We were a family...

We chose them because we had already stayed there before the hotel was bought by new owners :a family made up of a mother and her two children, Francesco and Olga. They were very prompt to answer our queries when we contacted them via Internet. Apartments...

We arrived here at 2 july, but I foregot that I cancelled booking and booked elsewhere. They were very polite and instantly proposed a room for 100 EUR in the center of the city. The room was fairly spacious with a separate private bathroom alongside complimentary water, fridge and coffee/tea making...

Staying in Santa Maria Novella

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Maria Novella
Santa Maria Novella train station welcomes the majority of the people arriving in Florence, which might explain the hectic pace. Commuters and tourists come across the constant hustle and bustle of the station before exiting, taking a few steps and stopping amazed in Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. It is impossible not to admire the the square, housing one of the most charming basilicas in Florence. The area has plenty of local spots to taste Tuscan specialties, but don’t stop in the main streets alone; the narrower side streets always ensure satisfaction. The huge Parco Delle Cascine provides a solution to the need for a green area as well as a historic welcome in the form of a bronze statue of King Vittorio Emanuele II riding a horse.
