Great location with good bus lines for Florence, beautiful nature, quiet location. It feels very good to come from crowded Florence to peaceful hill. When you arrive with car there's a comfortable parking space where you can leave your car safely and explore Florence.

Once again, our stay in Residenza La Torricella was outstanding in many way, The location, right off the autostrada in Galluzo, right outside of Florence up on a hill is outstanding. The B&B's rooms are spacious and spotless. The breakfast is homemade and fresh fruits every morning. Lisa & her husband are wonderful, helpful, and friendly hosts. They are there...

Quiet and cosy location in the cool surroundings of Florence, still one of the most attractive cities in Europe. Nice hosts. Size of the rooms and parking for the car okay. Tip: leave the car at the b&b and take the bus into town.

For a relaxing stay outside of Firenze, this place is perfect! Hosts were very sweet, welcoming, helpful. The room was a good size and we had a lovely view of the valley. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the quiet surroundings, with a picnic supper on the patio one evening (walked to town to catch a bus into Firenze...

Situated a couple if miles outside Florence, it provided a great way for us to use it as our Tuscan hub. From here we drive to Siena, on SS222, through the Chianti region and hopped on the public bus into Florence. Bus 36 - which was a 5-10 min walk away from La Torricella - brought us into downtown Florence....

We stayed at La Torricella for four nights while travelling around Tuscany. The B&B is run by a husband and wife team who are very friendly although they do speak limited English they will go out of their way to help you. The B&B is set back from the road behind an electronic gate that requires a key to access...

It was a decent size and the bathroom was nice as well. The service was not out of the way friendly, but not bad as well. The breakfast...

This is a wonderful, clean, family run hotel with friendly staff. Relax, enjoy a bottle of vino under a peacefull starlight Tuscan night sky and enhale the fragrance of a century old Wisteria. In the morning stroll 3 minutes to Gallozzo and take a short bus journey to Florence. Perfect.
