We booked this hotel via Hotel.com. It was our first time in Florence and the price and location really called my attention. We are a family of 5 three children ages 5, 11 and 18. The hotel is literally a block away from the train station. Since our arrival we had the greatest experience from Stephano the owner who happened... More

Lilium was a mere 3 minutes walk away from the train station and the staff were extremely friendly in helping to point out several areas of attraction and how to get there. The rooms were always clean and you would have all the necessary for a good night's rest.

We paid around £108 for 2 nights here in mid July and to be honest, I believe we got value for our money. I wouldn't want to stay here for any longer as our room was quite noisy, (being next to the breakfast room and above the busy street). The bed wasn't comfortable. On the plus side, the room had... The position of this hotel is perfect, few steps from the station. The rooms are big but very dark. There were few things not working properly. The AC could not be controlled from the room but only from the reception, which was quite annoying. Overall, this place is good for short stays, but I would avoid it if you plan... More

I will agree that the male receptionist was not very helpful and mildly creepy. But both of the female receptionists were very nice. The older woman did not speak a whole lot of English, however she was nothing but nice. She did walk into our room to clean while we were still in there, but we were in the room... More

I am writing this review after being here a total of 2 hours, It's a disgrace of a hotel and I would completely avoid staying here. When first arriving we were met by a male member of staff to drop our bags off as we were too early to check in, this part was fine although he was pre occupied... More

We arrived at this hotel from Venice in the morning. The only good thing was the location was brilliant. From train station we had no dramas getting here. dropped our bags off due to being there before check in , and explored Florence. When we got back we were shown our room. A VERY hot room with no a/c on... More

Biggest plus is the location - near the train station Firenze SMN / Piazza Adua. We took a guided tour of Florence, and day trips to Pisa and Cinque Terre. So it was a convenient place for the bus to pick us up / take the train. Rooms were very large with AC. Small bathroom, but that was fine.

We had a paid (non-refundable) online reservation for 1 night which I also confirmed in person a week before. On arrival, we were told the hotel was full, nothing could be done, and got bumped to a 1 star dump on the other side of the city. They paid the taxi fare. Cannot trust this hotel.

First day of my stay, I found a big mite on the wall of small single room. I hoped the bed will be ok although I found some black dots on my sheet. Those dots were stains from past so I tried not to care about it. But then on the second day I founds a few mites... More
