Thank you so much to all the staff at San Giorgio, our room was superb, shower good and balcony overlooking Duomo brilliant! We returned daily to a freshly cleaned room, fresh towels and bedding. Water was always hot. Breakfast was ample and enjoyable. Reception staff could not have been more helpful. Location of the hotel was 5 minutes from the... More

We had just one night in Florence, so we booked this hotel because it was not very expensive and was very close to the train station. It is an old and tired hotel with a man at the reception who wrote our names in a huge registration book. We were thinking we'd have a retro experience but we didn't get... More

The hotel is located a few steps from the main train station and just less than 10 minutes away from the city center. Many stores and restaurants in the area. Very safe. I was in Italy for work by myself and the room I was assigned was a double with a balcony with view, on the third floor. However there... More

It smelled of bleach when we walked in, so I guess it was clean. The walls could use an update, as they were dirty. The carpet was a bit dirty too. The shower temperature and pressure were constant, which was really nice. The tub was all scratched up, so it looked dirty, but I think it was just old. Shower... More

This is a basic B&B short stay hotel. Standard rooms over five floors served by one five person capacity lift. Although during our stay the hotel was full you did not get the impression that it was over crowded. Breakfast was continental style and plentiful. Staff members are friendly and helpful with a good command of English. Trips can be... More

Nice enough room, excellent location if arriving by train - pretty much across the road, and a 5 min walk to the centre. Paid less than £70 per night which was very reasonable in August but saw this hotel quite a bit more expensive at many websites. If I had paid £100+ would've rated this hotel lower. Room was spacious... More

We had 4 nights here and constantly debated to leave or not. Room 106 was dirty and old. Crome on taps and fonts all worn away. Bed uncomfortable and mattress did not fit base. Breakfast don't bother it is dismal and depressing. Old band aide under the bed, we accidentally spilt soft drink mopped it up floor was not washed... More

The hotel said it has non-smoking rooms, but during my stay it was the opposite: all rooms were smoking rooms. I had 2 twin bed, but i booked double bed. In addition, the room next to the elevator and stairs allows to know all the movements of the neighbors ...

The beds are not comfortable and constantly seperate. The bathrooms floods when you have a shower and the breakfast is absolutely terrible. Might as well not offer wifi as it doesnt work..... Not 3 stars at all
