This is the fifth time that I have stayed in Beacci Tornabuoni. I find that the location of this hotel cannot be topped. Situated one block away from Ponte Trinita and a few minutes walk from the Duomo, it sits on the most fashionable Street in Florence, via Tornabuoni. The hotel is decorated with very traditional furnishings. That it's charm...

Dear Guest, we thank you for your incredible review, we really wish our Guests to share a truly Florentine experience and we wish they appreciate Museums, art, food etc The Palace where the Hotel is in reflects in terms of lay out and furnishings a typical Renaissance home. We are looking forward to welcoming your again.

The hotel is in a great location close to all the main sites in Florence. It is like staying in a stately home with a lovely common sitting room and roof terrace next to the bar. Rooms are fine but my single room would be a bit on the small side if you are tall. Breakfast is up to the...

Dear Guest, thank you for having decribed the Hoterl in this manner: this is the way we love to be identified. As you mentioned being a large Palace of the XV° rooms are different, we have huge ones with high cealing or small ones, but this is part of its original charm. Of course rooms are sold at different rates,...

Centrally located near Ponte Vecchio. The roof top terrace is beautiful with wonderful views of Florence. A great place to have drinks. Rooms are spacious. Pillows need replacing with something softer. We had trouble getting hot water but not sure if that was a temporary thing. The square outside can get noisy. Staff very helpful and breakfast room is spacious.

Located adjoining the Piazza Santa Trinita and the bridge by the same name this hotel is an easy walk to most sights. Aged like the rest of the city, the building has an historic and charming character in its rooms and furnishings. The lifts in contrast are contemporary and efficient. Breakfast provided was excellent. The rooftop terrace is lushly planted...

The hotel is in a great location especially if you like Prada style shopping. The rooms are big and clean. We had two comfortable beds whereas we would prefer one double bed but being in our fifties we managed not being so close to each other. Bathroom was also spacious with a bathtub and shower. The only drawback of the...

This is our third time at this hotel because the location is terrific, the old building is magnificent and the staff is so friendly and helpful. The rooftop terrace is a delight. The rooms need new paint ,the furniture needs new upholstery and the pillows need to be replaced with down or something soft. We would still come back again.

Great location but noisy at night if the windows are open. All of the 3 rooms I was in were nice but maintenance was lacking and the showers were moldy. The beds were also very tired. Staff were helpful. Breakfast is hearty and included.

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
