After an awful first experience in Florence in another hotel we found this little gem when walking about trying to find a room for 3 nights in July (which is an unlikely event) however, La Scaletta had a beautiful room avaliable at a very reasonable...More
Great value and outstanding location, minutes from everywhere. Staff was helpful, roof top was amazing. Room was spacious as was the bathroom. Would definitely stay again. Just don't walk up the main steps, take the lift.
I love the location. There are a number of good restaurants around. The room was big enough, and the bathroom had been modernized. The help from the porter with our luggage was much appreciated. The welcome drink on the rooftop terrace offers great views of...More
It is a very interesting experience: to get to the hotel reception, you enter the house, follow the signs to a tiny elevator that leads you to the third floor, and there it is! Staff was very friendly. The room was very large and comfortable,...More

Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through
Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
