Great location. Rooms are comfortable. Views from the roof terrace are incredible. However for those that can not negotiate stairs this place is not for you. It is not called Hotel La Scaletta for nothing.
Although being right in the heart of Florence the hotel is very quiet. When you leave the crowded street and get into the building it's like getting into another world. Our room was spacious, the bed was super and the view towards Boboli Gardens splendig!...More
We loved this hotel. The slight inconvenience of the 97 stairs, tiny lift, etc were all worth it once we saw the view of the Boboli Gardens from our 'Superior Double' room located at the back of the hotel. Not to mention the view from...More
By far the best thing about this hotel was the location. My boyfriend and I visited Florence for 3 nights, so it was important to be near everything so we could do as much as possible in a short space of time. The location of...More

Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through
Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
