The B&B was a charming gem. I’m so happy that a random article led me to booking our stay here. Michel, Cinzia and Matthieu were fantastic hosts. It was located in a quiet street, far enough from the big crowds but still walking distance to the sites. We loved our room,

Property's Favorite Review
We usually prefer staying in boutique hotels and places which have a character, and Michel and Cinzia's home offered exactly the experience we were hoping for. They both made us feel welcome from the minute we stepped in, sharing their story and how they established and restored

My husband and I just finished a three week trip of Italy, Switzerland and France. We stayed in luxury full service hotels for the most of the trip, but without a doubt our favourite place to stay was 1865 Residenza d'epoca with Michel and Cinzia. The bed and breakfast occupies

This is a charming little boutique hotel in the NE quarter of the city, just a 10-minute stroll from the centre and all of its delights. Our room was lovely. Michel, Cinzia and Matthieu were all such great hosts, and speak perfect English which, whilst not vital does allow you

Yes, I'd say about a 15 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio. My girlfriend and I spent 3 days there and (other than transfers) we didn't use any public transport. We just walked everywhere.

Hello there. Apologies for the delay in replying. It takes about 20-25 mins from the airport in a taxi. We arrived by train from Venice and it was only a 10 minute ride from the train station. When flying home, it couldn't have been easier - there is a button you press in the hotel and a taxi turned up 10 minutes later. I think it was about €25 with a tip. I would thoroughly recommend this place. Kind regards Chris

Hi Brian. 2018 is quite a long way off so I would contact the place by email or phone to discuss your reservation. The owner is French but speaks excellent English. Please note it is not a hotel but a bed and breakfast and as such does not have the facilities of a hotel but frankly that is the essence of its charm. It is absolutely stunning and the owner is really friendly and accommodating so it should make a fantastic base for your wife's special Birthday. Danielle
