We were guests, along with another couple for three nights. Michel and Cinzia are absolutely wonderful, very knowledgeable about Florence, with suggestions of restaurants and tours. This hotel is in a residential area, within walking of all the historic landmarks of Florence. The hotel is beautiful, our room was fabulous with a modern bathroom, and it overlooked a beautiful garden.... More

From start to finish we had a great experience. Upon arrival, Michel, the owner arranged for our car to be collected and stored in a nearby garage. We could collect our car at any time during our stay. Michel was very welcoming, with great advise on where to go and eat. He is happy to make reservations and arranged for... More

We spent 5 nights at this wonderful guesthouse. My wife was concerned about her privacy staying at an intimate lodging where the owner/manager could be omnipresent. However, nothing could be further from the truth. Michel, the owner, was available discreetly and always attentive to or every request. The 3 B's of an excellent stay (Bed, Breakfast and Bathroom) were of... More

My husband and I are currently staying here during our stay in Florence. THIS IS AN AMAZING PLACE TO STAY! !!! We are picky travelers and there is not even 1 complaint about this space. Cinzia and Michel are FABULOUS hosts who go the extra mile for their guests - the kindest and most helpful hosts we've met in all... More

We stayed four nights upon arriving in Florence from Los Angeles, and could not have chosen a more beautiful place and nicer hosts! As others have said, there is an elevator that takes you up to the floor with the lodgings, where you’re greeted with a sliding glass entry door that gives you a hint of the pleasures within. Going... More

It took less than 10 minutes by taxi from Firenze SMN. 1865 Residenza D'Epoca was located very close to Sinagoga and Piazza Massimo D'Azeglio park around Colonna on north east side. The host Cinzia was waiting, she greeted me well and later made me a long black cup of coffee while showing map of the city recommending places to dine... More

We had a wonderful experience at this B & B. From the moment we arrived Michel was friendly and helpful. He made sure one of our two rooms was ready early so we could unwind and store our luggage. He showed us various things on the map of Florence, including local restaurants, and could not have been more helpful. Both... More

This ended up being a surprise location for the three of us. I mistakenly didn't realize that any B&B designated a certain way could be call a "Residenza d'epoca." We were actually hoping to stay in the one we had visited the last time we were in Florence. That said, this was a very comfortable place to stay with an... More

From the time we booked our stay, you could already feel the care of our hosts Michel and Cinzia. They kept great communication and follow up until the time we arrived. Cinzia provided a great "check-in" and made us feel at ease as soon as we were greeted. It was a welcome refuge from the heat and travel and we... More

This was close to the centre of Florence and within walking distance of most of the famous sites. A family home with 5 rooms beautifully and tastefully furnished each with its own ceiling fresco. We were greeted by our hosts with coffee and complimentary local sweet wine was available whenever we wanted it. Breakfast was taken at a large table... More
