Checked inn at the hotel at 12 in the evening. The room provided to us was not up to a great standard and it was brought to our attention that this was the case due to the rate we paid. We stated that it was not fair as the images were deceiving and immediately received upgrades to the rooms we thought we were getting. Great service, great rooms. Location was not great and was a distance from thetoursit attractions

The staff were excellent when we were caught unexpectedly in the Coronovirus and Italy's lockdown of all cities and attractions. Special thanks to Giovanni, who was so helpful in arranging our travel documents, Francesca for her welcoming smile and our waitress Alice. The help they provided was invaluable, as we were English speaking only tourists. Our visit to Florence would have been very stressful without their help.

We chose the Anglo American as a good balance of location and value. We arrived just as the Coronavirus measures started to impact travel. The staff could not have done more to keep a sense of normality and to make us welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were friendly and attentive at all times. Definitely worth the visit.

room not much clean and smell / ground floor paid around 200 EURO it is not worth. really not good location , wi fi no good , I ask with hotel hotel people we want to stay first floor or up but they said no possible but i checked there are room available it is not fully booked

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was as expected from the photos and exceptionally clean. The large bed was very comfortable and the breakfast amazing. It was my partner's birthday during our stay. She was presented with a small cakePM and a candle at breakfast which made her day. We were very impressed with everything.

Really well situated hotel, 2 min. from train station in a quiet area but not far from the city center. The attention of NH staff is unbeateble and the hotel itself is very nice, it has a really charm interior terrace.

The hotel staff was absolutely great and very helpful. I got a free upgrade when I arrived, and there is always a complimentary glass of prosecco. The best part is the beds are really good, and so are the pillows, not always a guarantee wherever you stay in this city. A quiet neighborhood, short walking distance to the center of town. Highly recommended!

Great location, really pleasant and cleaned room but the thing that makes this such a good place is how well we have been treated by the nice staff.We travelled to Florence to celebrate both my birthday and my girlfriend's and they had a really good gesture making a surprise in our room. It was all decorated with a small heart shaped cake and a couple of candles They couldnt have done it better. They have been really helpful and generous with their time and advice. Highly recommended

Superb location close to the Armo and Cascine; awesome level of service and customer engagement; killer breakfast; and a cool, boho Marin County meets Umberto Eco makes this hotel a must for visitors to Firenze whether on business or for pleasure. I have been coming here for over 10 years now and it gets better and better - now with an ebike and escooter service too. Recommended.

Good service, well located but rooms are quite old and need an urgent updating. Breakfast is really good. High price compared to what you get. There should be better options in Florence, don't think I would repeat.
