The hotel is beautiful and spotless. Extra Towels, sewing kits and the like are always at the ready. The quality of the fruits available at breakfast is exceptional and the espresso always fresh. Ask for the rooms at the top floor, it's worth the small...More
We stayed here with my husband and 2 kids for 4 nights. Il Guelfo Bianco is a charming hotel well-located in the centre of Florence in five minutes of walking to the Duomo. Charming good size rooms with nice period pieces. Staff is polite, absolutely...More
Charming good size rooms with nice period pieces. Staff, be it at the front desk or bistro is absolutely amazing - so helpful and always smiling and accomodating. Great location as well.

San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on
Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.

There isn't a garage attached/part of the hotel; however, the hotel has arrangements with what they call a 'partner-garage' for valet parking. You'll need to contact the hotel directly for details, prices, etc. Check their website and send them an email: they will respond. FWIW: I would never consider driving in Florence: too many issues with ZTL's and the fines are hefty. It's an easily walkable city.
