At the suggestion of a friend, we were referred to this hotel for our weekend trip to Florence. She kept saying it was "amazing" and she wasn't wrong. I am an avid travel and this is BY FAR my favorite hotel today. It's charming, quaint, full of character and perfectly located! This boutique style hotel was beautifully decorated and had... More

The location was fantastic. The rooms were so spacious and beautiful. A great place with the most gracious staff. We were with a group and each room was more comfortable than the next. The breakfast was so convenient and welcoming. And the onsite restaurant had great food. We loved the charm and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

This is a comfortable, well-situated small hotel quite well located near the Accademia and the Duomo. The staff is well trained by the experienced manager, Antonella. The rooms have charm and space. Breakfast is very satisfactory and is served in pleasant surroundings. We have made this our hotel of choice when in Firenze.

Visited for one night with my wife and 20 year old daughter. Wonderful large room with a half divider wall between our bed and our daughter's so all had privacy. Bathroom was nice. Very close to the statue of David and Doge's Palace. Great restaurants just outside the door. Left too early to enjoy the breakfast but understood from others... More

Il Guelfo Bianco is a very nice reasonably priced hotel that somehow seems to be close to almost all of the best places to visit in Florence. The staff is friendly and incredibly helpful. There is a small restaurant that serves excellent food. One one of our visits the staff really went above and beyond outstanding service when one member... More

This is a great little place. Walking distance from the train and all of the sights in florence, a great price, and rooms are spacious and uniquely decirated. Bonus for pitch black rooms when you shut the shutters! Great breakfast and convenient little cafe downstairs when you need a glass of prosecco pronto!

We absolutely loved our stay at Il Guelfo Bianco. We arrived by car and we had no issues with parking. We left our keys with the front desk and a valet service from a nearby garage parked our car for us. Very convenient, although a bit pricy. It was about 27 Euro, I believe. However, the parking price is understandable... More

This family run hotel has enormous charm - the heritage building with its ceiling beams, the antique furniture in the bedrooms, but above all THE ART. The owner has been a serious collector of contemporary art, and very good and interesting paintings are displayed on every available wall, meticulously framed and protected in plexiglass for public installation. This adds a... More

We visited Il Guelfo Bianco for three nights in August 2016 and had a somewhat mixed visit. Positives - Compared to other hotels in a similar location (which is very convenient - you can walk everywhere) we felt the hotel offered good value for money - The breakfast offered was simple but nice with fresh ingredients - The hotel has... We had a lovely stay at Il Guelfo Bianco. We booked a 'superior' twin room, which had carved beams and a small window with a view over a little courtyard. The hotel is very well run, with helpful staff.
