We stayed as a family of 4 in August for 7 nights. Good location, a 15 minute walk to San Marco square ( lots of buses go from here ) and the Academy, via La Pira. Bus outside the hotel goes to Fiesole ( 10 mins by number 7 bus). In addition to sightseeing in Florence, we could take a... More

This was our third hotel of the tour. Baggage had to be unloaded across the street and carted over to the zebra crossing to the hotel. The foyer was nice, but very cramped when a tour group is inside and only one lift. We had a triple room which was comfortable, however, I found the bed very short and my... More

We had the chance to upgrade and I wish we would have to skip staying here. Compared to other hotels in our package this one was "just ok" Wifi was slow, quiet but uninteresting walk back from city center which was 25 mins away on foot. Hotel staff ignored us when we came back at night. Hotel staff in the... More

I stayed with my wife and 15 years old son for one night with a group. We didn't care that much about the hotel since we didn't spend that much time in the hotel and were busy exploring the Amazing Florence. Rooms were small, noisy, and smelly with heavy key chain! lol it was a hot night, and AC doesn't... More

Claims to be a hotel for travelers, but there are two key amenities missing: no safe in the room, so we had to leave our passports at the front desk; and the Wi-Fi didn't work at all, so no Internet access. Then again, it's a cheap hotel with free breakfast (that part was adequate) and you're in Italy so... not... More

If you are looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful as a base to explore Florence, this place is for you!!! A 20min walk into the city and 30mins drive to the Airport at a cost of €30. The double occupancy room we had was quite small and we had a shower room only, which suited us just fine. WIFI connection... More

It was 9 euros to take a taxi from SM Novella train station, and 12 euros back to the train station. Hotel is close to la accademia, it is about 10 minute walk. About 20 minutes to the Duomo and about 40 minutes to the Piazza Michelangelo. Supermarket 5 minutes away. Front staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was adequate.... More

I was traveling with a bunch of college kids, and therefore this hotel was perfect for that type of group. Conveniently located north east corner of Florence. Short walk to the first Piazza. Not much happening in that general neighborhood of the hotel. Comfortable bed, nice breakfast in the a.m. that's all I needed.

We have no choice as we joined Cosmos Tour. Our room is on the 2nd Floor with a small balcony facing the main street. Quiet room amazingly since the traffic is heavy outside. Bed is comfortable enough. The wifi is okay. Bathroom and toilet is small but clean. Breakfast is just what we expect from a 3☆ Hotel It is... More

Stayed in this hotel as part of a Cosmos tour group. The room was probably the smallest of all hotels during the trip. Wifi worked only sporadically. Breakfast was fair. The advantage of this hotel is that you could walk to the center of Florence. For example, I walked from the lobby to the Duomo in about twenty minutes at... More
