Stayed here one night. The hotel is extra clean, the service was excellent. The location could hardly be better. The beds were comfortable, the windows keep the typical Italian street noise to a minimum. Views from the rooms are posted on the doors in case you are curious about other’s view.
We stayed here for a week nearly and found the hotel clean and comfortable and very Covid safe. The staff were extremely attentive and welcoming and this remained thoughout our stay. All historic sights just a short walk awy in all directions....fabulous position for this alone. We had a junior suite and this was clean and very comfortable....great nights sleep in the bed! Rooms cleaned every day and bed made so all simply perfect. We found a couple of great places to eat; 1) Gune at San Frediano which is about 15 mins walk away from the hotel. 2) La Sosta de' Golosi on Via de' Pecori which again is just around 15 mins away. We would stay at the Hotel Pitti Palace again and can highly recommend this place. Thanks to Lucia for her help and kindness.
Literally at the end of Ponte Vecchio, the Pitti Palace is a wonderful spot to stay in Firenze. The best views the hotel has to offer are from its rooftop terrace which is the breakfast room in the mornings and the restaurant for lunch and dinner so all the guests can enjoy this stunning spot. The rooms are simple but comfortable and well equipped, especially if only in town for a short stay. And the breakfast is not only picturesque but also sumptuous and very tasty, currently served to your table, not buffet style.
We had a wonderful stay at Pitti Palace in Florence. The rooms were clean & very comfortable - we had two rooms between the four of us. The hotel location is good for walking to the main sites. The lounge area is very comfortable and being on the first floor has good views of the streets. There was an option to have breakfast (for an additional cost) in the rooftop terrace.
The reception staff were friendly enough if not too very effusive, and the building is generally pleasant Our room did have an outside view but not of any of the big sights. It is very near the ponte vecchio and easy walking to the main sights, but the street was echoey at night, meaning it was hard to keep windows shut Our room needed a bit if a hug, paintwork needing touched up, and a couple of repairs Breakfast was okay, and they are trying hard in difficult co vid times There are plenty of similar places at the price and there's nothing really to pick this over others, but it was decent value
