I really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is located just across the super-busy Ponte Vecchio, but is on the other side of the bridge, so it is incredibly convenient while being somewhat shielded from the insane crowds. The bed (we had the two twins together for a "matrimoniale") and the linens were clean, neat and comfy. The towels were... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights and it was lovely! The rooms were really nice and staff really friendly. Nice little rooftop wine bar with a great view, cute hotel cats to cuddle too! Breakfast was nice and the location could not be better!

This hotel was an ideal location for visiting Florence. Everything was walking distance with the exception of Piazza Michelangelo. The staff was helpful, the rooms clean and the beds comfortable. The rooftop dining room was the perfect place for breakfast with a view of Florence. In the evening they serve dinner and we went up there at the end of... More

Just on the edge of the less touristy side of the Ponte Vecchio - a perfect location. A very relaxed feel with helpful, friendly staff. Excellent breakfast with a wonderful view. Everything within walking distance and a great supermarket just yards away. Stay on this side (Oltrarno) for reasonably priced, superb restaurants. We will definitely be back.

We spent three nights here and the hotel was just right for us. Our verdict is that it was a great location and rooms and breakfast were good. There is a fantastic view over Florence from the terrace . We were on the fourth floor and had no noise from street below or ponte vecchio itself. The hotel staff were... More

The room was spacious, we loved the hotel cats, the staff were friendly! The only down sides were that our room was close to the pointe vecchio bridge so it was noisy and we were not impressed with the evening dinner here! But overall close to the town and also close to some great view spots!

Spent three nights at this really pleasant hotel almost but not quite on the Ponte Vecchio bridge The location is superb- you can walk everywhere. The hotel was very clean with very helpful staff. Our room, a superior room was spacious, for a European hotel, the bed very comfortable, there was a Juliet balcony and the bathroom was well equipped... More

We booked through Bookings.com, and to be fair the reviews were patchy, but the photos looked great. On arrival, it is under impressive, suffice to say it is the first time I have ever made the decision to forfeit the cost of one night's accommodation and walk out. As we did not take photos before leaving, Bookings could not take... More

I already had the pleasure to answer to you on your review in our facebook page. So: Your reservation was for a standard double room, you were assigned a superior room but still you did not feel comfortable. I proposed to you to see another room ( we had only one left) but still you felt claustrophobic. I proposed to... More

Truly one of the best I have been too. Great location in heart of city, roof top terrace for breakie and amazing views. Breakie included, American style and continental, at a good/high standard. Reception very good service. Other food for dinner available but not tried, does look good for value for money. Would I stay here again? Yes definitely. Any... More

Stayed at the pitti palace hotel very recently on arrival , all was very straight forward, and easily explained , especially as I was a solo traveller, for the first time. On many occasions you hear os solo travellers being given a broom sized cupboard as a room , not in this case, was definately a kingside bed if not superking... More

Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
