Room was comfortable.Good location. Thought it was pricey for the length we stayed here. Felt very safe. Easy walk to all the main sites in Florence. Very easy to get from airport and use the trains for other cities. All in all a adequate place to stay.
The Service in the Bar and Breakfast area was awesome. It's what make customers want to return! The location to the train station made coming into and leaving Florence a breeze. Just a short walk to sights, shopping and restaurants.
The location across from train station made for an excellent location! Local market and restaurants were nearby. There was plenty of major sights within walking distance. The breakfast room provided hot and cold foods that were fairly good in quality, but very good in quantity!
Very good hotel, very well situated. The personnel is friendly and efficient. The breakfast is perfect I stayed in many hotels in Firenze, I will return to this one the next time I will come to Firenze for my work.
I have travelled to Florence quite a bit for work over the last 7 years and have tried many different hotels. I'm not sure how I haven't tried this one, but I was pleasantly surprised. Ofcourse from a USA perspective, the rooms are a bit small But I had sufficient space to work on the desk, the bed was comfortable, the shower did its job... It would have been a tough room to use if it was for two people. But for 1 person business trip, it was fine. This hotel is right across the tram tracks from the SMN train station, so its easy to get from your train with a suitcase and get checked-in fast. The location drives the nightly room price a bit higher but during tourist season anything near/in old town florence is going to be pricey anyhow.. Be careful the room you get. I don't think you would want a room with a window directly facing the train station. I didn't have it, but could imagine it would be more street noise. My room, 245, did not have any street noise issues. My stay was for 2 nights. The lounge is nice with a friendly staff. Prices are reasonable. …
The room was clean and quite comfortable. The air conditioning DID work, but even at it coldest setting, it was still a bit too warm in the room. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and extraordinarily helpful on several occasions. The men at the front desk were helpful, but not as friendly. Overall, a very good stay and I would go there again.
Great location. Large room and spacious bathroom. Shower over bath would prefer walk-in shower. Extensive selection at buffet breakfast. Had drinks in bar which were accompanied with small filled bread rolls which was a nice touch.
The customer service at this hotel was excellent. The staff was very friendly, and diligent. Plus, the location of the property is amazing (literally across the train station). I would definitely stay again.
good located. near train station, a little bit noisy from the street, but 5 min to the old town city. breakfast very good. parking near the hotel, very comfortable. rooms are different size and very good equiped.
We loved our stay at the C- Ambasciatori! It was directly opposite the train station - pulling luggage through the cobble streets of Florence looked like a nightmare so we were thrilled to exit the station &walk straight into our hotel. Our room on the 5th floor had a stunning view over the roof tops to the Duomo and the bell tower! We were a stroll from the Piazza in front of the Church of Santa Maria Novella. Lots of lovely trattoria lining the square. The Duomo & Uffizi were easy to access on foot from the hotel. The hotel itself was spotless, the staff were attentive and the breakfast was expansive, best range and presentation of our 5 week trip! Omg the bacon was perfect!! The piano bar was fabulous with a delightful bar tender- personable, good English and great skill set - we loved his carved swan apple. Highly recommend this hotel for its warmth and unassuming style. …
