Set in a green area of Florence, Villa Nard is 10 minutes' walk from the Boboli Gardens and the ancient city gate of Porta Romana. This historic mansion with private park dates back to the late 19th century. The classic rooms at the Nardi Villa are air-conditioned and feature free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The period furnishings are made in wood. Breakfast is served in the cosy dining room with fireplace on the ground floor, and includes fresh fruit and homemade pastries and cakes. Outdoors, guests will find a pretty garden, a small chapel and a spacious, guarded parking. The villa has excellent bus links around Florence and is a 5-minute drive from Piazzale Michelangelo, which offers panoramic views across the historic centre. You can also rent a car or a bicycle on site

An absolutely awesome and beautiful place. Would recommend it to everyone. Thank you Martha. Better than sitting in a city hotel and enjoy the charm of the old beautiful villa. But still quite close to the city centre. Felt like taken back in time. Nice rooms also. Old villa but lift is there so taking bags up is easy :-)

Breakfast is great! The employees are great. In the morning you are woken up by birds in a big city. The location is located in a beautiful part of Florence that is surrounded by villas. Access to the city by own car is 15 minutes which is OK! The rooms are clean and tidy

A beautiful Tuscan villa with easy walking access to Florence and Michelangelo lookout. Perfect place to watch the sunset. So peaceful, clean and comfortable. We had a huge, Turkish bathroom and the best bed and pillows so far in Europe. We will be back.

We loved our stay. The Villa is in a quiet neighborhood but not too far from the center. there is bus stop in a short walking distance to take you to center. The beautiful Giardino di Boboli and museum is located in a 10 minutes walking distance. Breakfast is very good and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The villa is beautifully decorated inside and outside.

We have never experienced such a plasent experience like what we had in beautiful Villa Nardi. Aside perfectly clean and high stylished interior of the room, in the kitchen and building halls you feel like in museum full of artistic exponats. On the top of all, if the weather allows, you can have a breakfast in the real renaissance garden. In the villa and in the garden through the day it plays very well chosen quiet jazz music, which completes the nice atmosphere . Even entrance by the car makes you to feel special, as the nice huge gates opens in front of you, you slowly drive through the curvy path of renaissance style garden coming to the villa where warm and polite owner are waiting for you and take your bags. The location is great, 25 min walking to Ponte Vecchio passing byThe Boboli Grdens and Palazzo Pitti , which is just perfect distance to digest incredible Fiorentina steak 😋. All in all the best possible accommodation in Florence, especially for those who come by car.

So, so lovely. Best location for a pedestrian tourist (with a car used for the country.) Lost 10kilos simply walking home at the end of a touring Florence. Be aware that food service isn't available after a lovely breakfast. The owner made fantastic recommendations for food and assisted with Italian communication..so helpful. Taxis were prompt and friendly.
