We arrived and left by train and were very happy we only had a very short walk from/ to the station - just cross the road, round the corner and you are there! Once we arrived at reception the guy that checked us in was very friendly and helpful - he even called our next hotel in Tuscany to help... More

I was traveling to Florence for a conference at the Palazzo de Congressi and so looking for accommodations close by. Hotel Fiorita was in the right location and offered a cost effective option in this tourist town. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is located on the 3rd floor (here in Italy, the ground floor is 0, so it's really... More

This hotel has a good location, near to the train station and most of the historical sites of Florence. The breakfast was ordinary but the breakfast room in the attic gives an nice view over the roof tops. An extra plus was the 24/7 self-services of tea, coffee, fruits etc. The staff was very helpful but could not fully help... More

Nice stay. Breakfast bar is a great idea and open all day which is great considering we checked in late. Pretty close to the station for convenience. The style of the bedroom is very old fashioned with the wall paper pealing and the light in the bathroom broken but everything else seemed to be working fine. Good stay for a... More

I stayed at Hotel Fiorita for 5 nights and I would consider staying here again if I'm ever back in Florence. Location is great - 5-minute walk from SMN train station. Also, since Florence is a very walkable city, the hotel is within 20 minutes (or less) of most of the things one would want to see while visiting the... More

Fantastic location being just a short walk from the main train station. Really close to the central market and Cathedral for exploring these areas. Our room was very spacious, clean and perfect for our needs. Snacks and drinks were available all day from the kitchen area which we made use of. Breakfast was served in the same location with a... Dera Guest, to be so close to the main railway station, just a few minutes away, it a big plus; consider you can leave your lugguage at the reception when checking out , return in the afternoon and take your train or bus shuttle, or taxi ; any charge to pay ( at the railway station the cost to leave... I stayed alone in Florence for one night. The hotel is very close to the central station, and I had an early train from my previous destination so I arrived at the hotel before check-in opened. The hotel is actually on the third floor of the building, and there is a slightly-complicated small elevator/lift to the third floor, but you... More

Decent hotel in a good location only 5 minutes walk from the train station. Our double room was a decent size, had a large modern bathroom and air con. Breakfast is a self-serve buffet style with various cereals and pastries. It was ok, the juice and coffee machines were a bit chemical tasting. Good value and walking distance to all... More

Second time at this hotel, the staff is great, the rooms are clean. it is about a block from the main station. The is a small elevator but you have to go up about 10 steps first to get to it. It is secure and there are plenty of restaurants near by.

I traveled with my wife and 2 kids (8 and 15). I usually try to look for hotels that are at least 3 stars and a good traveler rating.
