This is an amazing hotel. Our stay at Pendini was one of the best I have come across for a three star hotel. Every little detail of service and accommodation was top level. It could have passed as a five star. Seriously recommend Pendini for anyone visiting florence

Hotel is historic and in a great spot for sight-seeing. Rooms were clean and comfortable but a bit Spartan. Biggest concern was the noise level at breakfast. Very loud and cramped tables. Excessive opera music playing did not help at all. Food was ok but didn't vary after three days. We arrived at 7:30 one morning and had a better...

This hotel is centrally located and was very good overall. It was a bit dated inside, but for the value I really can't complain too much. It was a quick walk to pretty much everything including the train station. Our room easily fit us and our 2 kids. Breakfast was excellent.

To start with the hotel is just 900m from the train station. Its located so close to all the attractions in city center. Its a very old hotel. Service is good. Our room was ready before check in time. We went out for a walk and when we came by they said our room was ready and luggage was in...

Our group of six had three nights at this hotel which was recommended by our travel agent. It is a great value hotel in an amazing location. It's situated in the city centre, close to several designer stores and a short walk to the Duomo and a great range of restaurants. The staff are excellent, particularly the hotel manager who...

Just returned from a short break in this great centrally situated hotel. Our room was lovely with views from the window under the arch into the Piazza. The staff were so pleasant and helpful. We just spent five delightful nights at the Hotel Pendini and could not have imagined a better experience. The reception staff were helpful and kind. The breakfast was filling and tasty. The history of this hotel is absolutely fascinating - take a few moments to absorb the history laid out in the large framed photos in the hallway between the...

We stayed 5 nights and thought this was a great hotel. It was centrally located and the room was clean and a nice size. There were lots of choices at the breakfast buffet. Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
