Although the lobby is located in the 4th floor and that it was not easy to arrive by car, the hotel location couldn't be better. In the main square, it is really a short walking distance to the most important place to visit, from Ponte Vecchio to the Uffizi Gallery or the Doumo. Very comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast and most...

Avery nice and clean hotel. Centrally located . Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was only continental and that should have been clearly specified when breakfast was requested as part of the booking

This landmark is still a proper grown-up place to stay: perfect location; good professional service; comfortable rooms; delicious breakfast - all absolutely as it should be and very good value for money.

One great advantage of exploring Florence is that it can all be done on foot. However, having a hotel located at the heart of the treasure trove of art and architecture is a real blessing-and saves your poor feet! Hotel Pendini is not only perfectly located but is also a very well run, elegant and friendly hotel. Our room over...

This hotel is a good choice for Florence travelers. It is located near a popular plaza in the heart of many restaurants and tourist sites. The staff is helpful but not intrusive - always available to respond to questions. We were delighted when the staff brought us cocktails in the peaceful lobby which was decorated with antique furnishings and paintings.

The location of Hotel Pendini is really very convenient and the beds in room is very very comfortable. The breakfast is really nice. I like it. But the room is a bit small. The sound-proofed of the room is not so good as our thought. Anyway it's a good experience to live here.

When we arrived at the hotel we were warmly greeted and check in was quick and efficient. We had a two bedroom room and it was lovely. Spacious bedrooms, big bathroom; the rooms were scrupulously clean. Heating that we could control (rather than central heating which is always too hot for us) was great. Breakfast was delightful. Lots of choice;...

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
