Helpful front desk, rooms OK , location quiet ideal for walking to city . Old TV and the thin walls made it a bit noisy . Buffet breakfast was fine.

A nice hotel....clean, neat and comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was good. This hotel is a bit of a hike from the main train station. It took us about 20 minutes each way. The neighbourhood is good and quiet. I would recomend this hotel to anyone and would stay there again Al and Charlotte... More

My stay would have been much more pleasant had we had an airconditioner that acutally cooled the room. We had not control over the unit at all with exception to turing the power on and off and I sweated my butt off all night. Luckily we only stayed one night in Florence or I would have packed my bag and... More

Stayed one night late July, 2011. About a €12 taxi ride from the train station. Close to the city center (well, Florence is very compact anyway). Rooms are typical European...tight. However, this is one of the few hotels which can/will accommodate 4 in one room (2 twins, 2 foldaways). Bathroom seriously sage (layout)...all 4 pieces were running into each other.... More

They said we could park outside the hotel, but you have to find it first! No places, but Daniele took my keys & 30 mins later the car was parked outside. Smallish but well appointed room with a/c. Wifi Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Close enough to all the attractions without being city centre. I was delighted overall & told them... More

Small but serviceable and clean bathroom. Bed not perfectly flat (old?), but clean and serviced daily. Free wifi for guests, telephone in room available for both incoming and outgoing calls overseas. Dial 0 not 012 as it said on my handset sticker. Air conditioning a blessing in spring/summer, not just for heat but general ventilation. No flyscreens (rare in Florence),... More

Based on the photos and for the price I had higher expectations as well. Our first night was claustrophobic, at the end of the bed you could reach out and touch the wall; it felt like sleeping in a walk in closet. The next morning, since I could not sleep in this room well because it was so small and... More

High expectation from seeing the reviews. A bit of let down after seeing the room. Air conditioning is remotely set from reception. You'll need to ask them to adjust the temperature if you want a nice cool room. The pillows are too flat. You'll need to ask reception for extra pillow. Reception is really friendly so service is good. Don't... More

Hotel Arizona was an adequate hotel but nothing remarkable. The staff was very helpful with our questions and phoning in museum and restaurant reservations. The room size was good, with the typical small european bathroom. Breakfast was typical, coffee was from a machine. We really didn't like the area around our hotel. Dirty sidewalks with dog poop on them. Lots... More

Despite being very close to the centre it was a reasonably quiet environment. Although the room and bathroom was compact it served our needs for a short visit. Also they were spotlessly clean. The decorated ceilings and clever use of the space made you'll know you're not staying in a standard box hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful giving... More
