The Brunelleschi Hotel garners praise for its exceptional value, though some guests mention the restaurant and additional services can be pricier. Its cleanliness and luxurious amenities receive consistent accolades, with a special nod to the hotel's central location steeped in historical charm. While rooms are generally admired for their comfort and cleanliness, a few guests find them on the smaller side. The service at Brunelleschi stands out, with staff members going above and beyond to provide a welcoming and stylish atmosphere that many find both luxurious and comfortable.

Quite simply one of the finest hotel experiences we have ever had. The service from the moment we arrived till we left was impeccable and kind. We had the room with a view and we certainly appreciated it. Food was wonderful and we didn't even make it to the 2* Michelin restaurant. And the bar was great fun. Good breakfast as well. Highly, highly recommended and pretty good value for what is close to a 5* hotel.

Hotel's Favorite
First of all, this hotel is top notch on so many levels I don't even know where to start. It's built inside a tower that dates back to the 6th century and is in the heart of historic Florence. I had originally wanted to stay in the Lungarno which is 5-star but it was so prohibitively expensive and I was going to be siteseeing and seeing my kid who's studying here for a semester abroad, so not in the room that much so I went with the 4-star Brunelleschi but it should be 5-star. It's in a tiny hidden Piazza so it's very quiet but literally 3 mins from the famed Duomo and so incredibly close to the Uffizi Gallery and everything else you want to see. I was obsessed with the breakfast buffet which includes a juice and smoothie bar, and piles of crispy, paper-thin bacon. They have fresh everything and my daughter told me the buffet here was better than the Lungarno. My room was perfect; they upgraded me to a junior suite (room 229).. spacious and huge bathroom with rain shower and modern, gorgeous fixtures, instant hot water, no waiting (like at the St. Regis in Rome where 5 mins later the water is still cold in the shower). Large screen tv, 2 different types of coffee machines-- one basic and one for espresso, pods included. Fresh bottled water every night, and the housekeeping was spectacular. I know that sounds weird to point out but every time I came back to the room it was in perfect condition. Everything wiped down. The room was very well lit which is a big deal for me because hotel rooms are often very dim but there were multiple floor lamps and tonal understated decor. Not a great view, the room overlooked a tiny street below but not noisy at all. The restaurant directly across from the hotel, Il Paoilo is phenomenal. Oh and btw, there's a Michelin star restaurant IN the hotel. I didn't get a chance to try it but hear it's amazing. I don't usually take so much time to write a review like this but it was totally deserved. Giuliana and Sergio at the front desk were accommodating and professional. Finally, the scent of the hotel is like fresh grapefruit.. I checked the atomiser in the lobby and it's a Italian fragrance company with a website and I am totally ordering the scent online. Seriously, do NOT spend a fortune at the Four Seasons or the Lungarno.. Get a jr. suite at Brunelleschi and you will be so happy. I am.

The Brunelleschi is a beautiful hotel set right in the heart of Florence. The staff are exceptional and their attention to detail makes this hotel really stand out. Breakfast, which was included in our room rate, was amazing. Fresh smoothies and absolutely anything else you could possibly want for breakfast. The hotel restaurants are expensive, as is the hotel bar. The food is first class however I would have preferred one of the restaurants to be more affordable and we would have used the bar more if the drinks had also been less expensive. You can eat and drink in beautiful restaurants in Florence quite cheaply so we tended to have our night cap out rather than in the bar. This is not meant to sound negative, I just thought it might be helpful to know if you are considering this hotel. I would 100% recommend the Brunellechi though and will definitely stay there again when I return to Florence.

This is an outstanding hotel, from the attention to the room, lovely decor, bottled water, tea & coffee, to the little chocolates at night. the staff were welcoming and helpful, and the bar snacks excellent. It is situated in a perfect area for exploring all that Florence has to offer, and we would love to stay there again sometime.

Such a beautiful hotel in the greatest location. The service is amazing and the staff could not be more helpful. Breakfast is fantastic, rooms are perfect and we loved coming back to find chocolates on our bed, slippers laid out and our beds turned down - such a treat - one that doesn’t normally happen! Worth every penny. Thank you to all the staff that made our stay so fantastic.

A beautiful hotel set around one of the oldest towers in Florence. The staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble! There is a bar on site which is a lovely place to sit of the evening. The room had all the amenities you would expect and had a lovely feel. The hotel is right in the middle of Florence and was central for everything and is about a 10/15 minute walk from the Tram stop that links you to the airport.

This is a magnificent hotel, well located and with an excellent staff headed by the housekeeping staff who, in my experience, do their job with an efficiency that is hard to beat. The rooms are comfortable, fairly well soundproofed, it has a gym and the breakfast buffet is very acceptable. But it has a big problem if one wants quiet nights. Because most of the rooms overlook what is probably one of the noisiest streets in Florence (Via dei Calzaioli). Not only during the day, but also at night because the municipal street cleaning doesn't seem to respect the nightly hours of rest and noisy souvenir selling carts set up shortly after 06 AM on Via degli Speziali. The windows of the rooms are double glazed but if one, as is my case, is a light sleeper, one wakes up in every instance. It must be much worse in spring and summer when the city is plenty of tourists and if one does not like to sleep with A/C and wants the window a bit open. The fact that there are a pair of ear plugs in the bedside table shows that the professional staff is aware of the problem. In my opinion, for autumn winter the advantages of the hotel outweigh by far its disadvantages but I am not sure if this applies for spring summer when there are many more tourists in Florence.

Dear Guest, We would like to express our best gratitude for staying at Hotel Brunelleschi and sharing your experience with us: this affords us to improve our services and to continue our promise to reach our Guests’ expectations. Thank you very much as well for you kindest words in regards to the location, and housekeeping service : our daily commitment to exceed guest’s expectation and we are thrilled to understand that we succeeded. We are deeply sorry to read that you were not able to relax during your stay in Florence: the glasses and gaskets of our windows are soundproof, as well as the doors. The soundproof level is enough to avoid the usual noises from the street, but eventually, not enough for some specific situations. We have introduced for our Guests the earplugs, added into the apartment, to ensure the most comfortable night experience. We cannot give you back the time spent in Florence, nor change what happened , but I deeply hope to welcoming You back again; please contact me directly for your next Stay in Florence and give us a second chance, I am sure we will be able to arrange the expected accommodation and to make unforgettable your experience with us. This is the aim of our daily efforts and we hope that you will permit us to try to realize it. I remain at your complete disposal, with my best regards Carla Balli Guest Relation
