We stayed here at the beginning of August 2020 for 4 nights as a family of 4. As soon as we left, we missed it. The location can’t be beaten in my opinion. It’s steps from Duomo, there are plenty of lovely, local restaurants nearby. It just has a lovely feel. The rooms are size wise, as expected in a central hotel but nothing is missing. Everything is catered for. The staff are all so friendly. There’s nothing they won’t try and help you with. The rooms are very clean. We were privileged enough to eat at the the Michelin star restaurant “Santa Elisabetta” and as expected the food was delicious but also the surroundings quite special. We have been very fortunate to stay in some lovely hotels around the world, but there really is something quite special about Hotel Brunelleschi. When you come back after a long day, it’s like coming home. We will definitely go back. If you are thinking about making a booking, just do it. You will not regret it.

The staff is superb. Extremely kind and accommodating. The included morning breakfast is outstanding. Rooms and bathrooms are very well appointed. Take time to read the history and visit the museum room. Fascinating story!

Stayed for six nights last month in this lovely hotel. Our room was luxurious and well equipped and the bathroom had plenty of surfaces for our toiletries, always a good sign. Service was marvellous throughout. There could not be a better location; the hotel is a few steps from the Duomo, the Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi - everything is within easy walking distance. The Santa Elisabetta Restaurant has a well-deserved Michelin star and served us the best meal of our stay in Florence. Breakfast was very good. The gym looked fantastic, one of the best I've seen. In these strange times traveling has some disadvantages; the other restaurant and the bar were both closed during our visit and there was no room service available. But the other side of the coin is that there are few visitors, which means great service, traffic that is manageable, and few visitors in the big museums and galleries - those that are open of course. Watch out for some of the minibar prices, which are a bit wild on a few items, and the laundry prices are such that you can just go out and buy whatever you need more cheaply. Apart from that, a great stay and we will doubtless return.

Hotel is in the heart of Florence, yet tuck away. We love this hotel and have stayed at the Brunelleschi 4 times. The rooms vary a little but they are all beautifully decorated with modern bathroom, wonderful beddings, fitness room and a great restaurant. The service at this hotel is real top notch and worth the extra money to stay here. We travel quite a bit and found it’s not worth cutting corners when it comes to selecting accommodations. We learned our lesson from a booking in Venice (pictures posted from website were misleading). Long story... we end out walking out and paying for a new hotel (expensive lesson). So back to Brunelleschi, you won’t be disappointed with this beautiful hotel.

We traveled to Florence just before the COVID - 19 lock down and the hotel was very quiet . We had stayed there 20 years ago on our honeymoon and returned for our anniversary. We had a beautiful room with the best maid service I have ever seen. Breakfast was good and the staff were all warm and very hospital despite the anxious time for them. Sergio on the front desk deserves a special mention, he went out of his way to find good places for us to eat and to recommend walks and activities that he thought we might enjoy. Its a great place and we will hurry back as soon as we can.
