Great location <5 min walk to train station & Mercado Centrale, 10 min to Duomo. Large room with separate sitting area & huge bathroom! Bed HARD as a rock and pillows were FLAT. Generous buffet breakfast including scrambled eggs. A/C did not work, but cool enough at night with the windows open, except no screens, so we got a few mosquito bites. They did provide a small room fan upon request. Robes & Slippers provided. Bottled water provided only 1st day (why not all 3 days?!).

The hotel is located 5 min away from the train station and within 15 min walk to main attractions. As you come out to the left of the hotel, the area is a bit dingy and felt a little unsafe. The room was dark and uncomfortably hot so we had to keep opening the window particularly at night. Unfortunately, we ended up with mosquitos in the room and got bitten. The breakfast was ok although quite small and repetitive. On our final day we had to catch an early train to the airport. At 5.30am I went to the reception to ask for some coffee sachets as there were none in our room. The receptionist gave me a weird look before providing one sachet of coffee. I asked if we could have some breakfast and I was told ‘no’ as they don’t open till 7am. We checked out 45min later and saw other guests picking up their takeaway breakfast bags. When I asked why we didn’t get that too, I was told that it had to be ordered a day before. I was quite disappointed and felt that guests should be made aware of this service in advance. Lovely stay. Complimentary bottle of bubbles placed in room for my wife’s birthday was a very nice touch. Very comfortable bed and lovely linen. Nice breakfast. Staff very pleasant and helpful. All in all very enjoyable. Florence is a great city to explore and we found some great little off the beaten track places to eat.

Stayed here for 2 nights in Feb. The hotel is along one of the more quiet streets near the train station and minutes from Duomo. It’s entrance spills into a nice a courtyard that allows passenger drop off. Stayed in a room that has a terrace. Loved the view of rooftops and the tower of Sta. Maria Maggiore. The bed is quite comfortable and the room is good sized, comfortably fitting 2 large suitcases and several carry-ons. Our package came with breakfast which was quite adequate- good spread of hot and cold options + local cakes. It was quite warm for Feb and the AC obviously wasn’t working yet. Good to have the room with a balcony as we can open the door to let the breeze in.

Hotel was up to all the standards you can expect.Service was oldfashionally good. Well spoken in both italian and english. Breakfast was good. Enough variety but not massive. Distances to main train station and center of the city all within 15 min. So good location to explore both florence and tuscany. At the reception we arranged an excursion and reserved ticket which both worked very well.

We loved , hotel is old one but very conserved , very clean and confortable . Breakfast is excellent e the hotel is near the most important attractions. The staffs were very attention and kind . The rooms have king size beds and a beautiful bathroom

The hotel is well located, near the main train station in Florence. The staff was very helpfull. The breakfast was good. The rooms were very confortables, with all facilities required for a famliy with 2 children and 2 adults.

A perfect combination between position, services, breakfast and price! The location is very close to the Station and the main attractions in Firenze. Breakfast large and rich in choices. Classic, clean and comfortable. When I go to Firenze I'll always have look at Albany's availability.

Great location, very clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast had good choices. We only wish the walls were thicker. We could hear the couple next door having some adult time. More than that the hotel staff were very accommodating and polite. The location is also close to many of the major attractions around Florence.

Don't doubt, this hotel is perfect. Not only for his quaified staff but for a lot of advantages. The location is very close to the Station and the main attractions in Firenze. The restaurant is very good and breakfast is superior (anything for all tastes). Classic, clean and comfortable. If I come back to Firenze one day I'll stay in Albani without doubt.
