We are incredibly happy with our stay. My wife and felt like we were staying with family. It is in an amazing location. The hotel staff and restaurant is absolutely amazing. We are incredibly happy with our stay.
Despite allegedly being a four-star hotel the desk staff was incompetent messing up our registration, losing the passport copies, and sending us to the wrong room. On top of all that there is no ventilation in the quote transition season, it's noisy when you try to open the windows to have any fresh air and apparently nobody on the hotel cleaning staff noticed that the bathroom stinks of mold probably because of the leak on the carpet. I would definitely recommend staying anywhere else this is not a four-star hotel!
Great location and high quality hotel. Nice modern rooms with high sealings in an old classic building. Near the cathedral and nice walking area. Friendly staff that helped with dinner reservations and book transportation, excursion, taxi. My special thanks goes to Federico.
The best part of this hotel is the location. The hotel is well past due for a major renovation. The hotel rooms are dead. The furniture is so old it looks like it comes from garage sales. Really beat up. The mattresses are very inexpensive ones. The front desk staff are fantastic and try very hard for to look after their guests, 5 star rating for the front desk staff. Breakfast is included in your stay. The location is the main point of this hotel not the hotel itself.
Wonderful location in a spotless Hotel with staff that went out of their way to ensure we had a most comfortable stay. Ahmed, the bartender, was fabulous and made martinis that were to die for. Breakfast was very good. When visiting Florence again would definitely stay here.
Fantastic stay and wonderful staff. The only reason why I put 4 stars is that the hotel does not have an in-house laundry service. I had a dinner and needed to iron clothes, but there was no iron/ironing board available. Considering the standing of the hotel, it was a bit of a let down but the staff apologized profusely. Outside of that I had a phenomenal time, delicious breakfast, beautiful and cozy rooms, exceptional location. Highly recommended!
Beautifully appointed hotel within a 3 minute walk to the Duomo, shopping and many restaurants. The bedrooms are spacious, beds are firm and very comfortable and closet space is abundant. The bathrooms are small by American standards but certainly functional. The hotel was vey quiet with a wonderful breakfast included. Staff was more than helpful in ordering cabs, recommending restaurants and exchanging pillows or providing fans! Would definitely stay in this hotel again!
The lobby has dirty smelly carpet, the rooms are outdated and nasty. The bathrooms had broken shower doors and human feces smeared on the bottom of the toilets. The carpets inside the family rooms are old, smelly, and disgusting. There were small insects and flys in the room even though the room has windows that can’t open. Save your money and go else where. I used a bed and got a rash…
We were here so briefly - unfortunately - this place is lovely. Rooms are very basic, but tidy and clean. Comes with a large breakfast. There's an evening happy hour with some finger foods. Location is the best part of all.
A great choice. Traditionally appointed deluxe hotel located on Florence’s toniest street — right by Hermès, Giorgio Armani, Tiffany, Rolex, etc. Our junior suite was the perfect size, with ample living-area space for conversation and hors d’oeuvres. The daily breakfast in the restaurant offered a wide variety of buffet choices, with custom dishes available at a nominal charge. Happy hour at the hotel bar featured a generous spread of snacks. Ahmed was a pleasant and helpful bartender, and Andreas, who initially checked us in, was friendly and highly professional. Easy access to all of the sights.
