Hotel Executive was a perfect base for our trip to Florence. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We were a party of three with one double and one single room. We were situated in adjoining rooms and a connecting door opened up for us therefore felt like a small suite. The hotel is very classy and the staff extremely... More

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights during our National Geographic Adventures trip to Tuscany. We came into Florence a day prior to the beginning of our trip and stayed here since the Nat Geo group was also staying here one night. We stayed in Room 216 the first 2 nights and then in Room 211 for the last... More

Location is close to the river, about 20 minutes walk to the main historic centre, and a few minutes easy walk from the main railway station in Florence, Santa Maria Novella. Very comfortable hotel with great staff, a good breakfast offering (but no dinner). We stayed here twice, at the start and end of a Tuscany holiday. The first room... More

The hotel is very close to the city center. Good wifi, ok breakfast, not many options there. Property is well maintained and they have retained the antique features of the hotel. Many eat out options close by. Check in and check out were both done pretty fast.

This hotel is very nice and clean as a four star hotel, which is very good for Italy. Internet connection very good, breakfast enough for all tastes. No parking place at the hotel, you can only park the car into a private parking with 20 euro/ day. This private parking it is closed during the night between 12 to 6... More

Dear Mr Stefan, I thank you so much for your great review about your experience in our hotel. Unfortunately we do not have a private parking, in Florence city centre parking a car is not very easy, as only residents are allowed to do it free of charge. We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Executive in Florence. Our vintage room was very spacious and clean, with wooden flooring. The amenities and services were good, with a steady wifi and breakfast options. The location of the hotel is a highlight - few minutes walk to the train station and other main tourist attractions. The hotel staff were extremely... More

The hotel is in a good location - in walking distance from the train station, the Duomo and other sights. We were in a suite - it was big and comfortable for 4. There were 2 twin beds, 1 full or queen size sofa bed (the mattress of the sofa bed on one side was kind of worn out) and... More

Dear Guests, I thank you so much for your preference accorded to our hotel. I am pleased to know you enjoyed your stay in our Suite river view. I was pleasantly surprised by this beautiful hotel. We received first class service and the staff were extremely accommodating. I felt as if I were in a five-star hotel as I received five-star service. We had a beautiful view of the city and came in to a clean room on a daily basis.

I was superexcited when I arrived and saw the room, especially that I love ancient stuff and the ceiling in my room, the furniture and the views tell a lot about the history of the place. Staying in Santa Maria Novella

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Maria Novella
Santa Maria Novella train station welcomes the majority of the people arriving in Florence, which might explain the hectic pace. Commuters and tourists come across the constant hustle and bustle of the station before exiting, taking a few steps and stopping amazed in Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. It is impossible not to admire the the square, housing one of the most charming basilicas in Florence. The area has plenty of local spots to taste Tuscan specialties, but don’t stop in the main streets alone; the narrower side streets always ensure satisfaction. The huge Parco Delle Cascine provides a solution to the need for a green area as well as a historic welcome in the form of a bronze statue of King Vittorio Emanuele II riding a horse.
