I booked this room in advance online before I arrived to Italy from Los Angeles and after my 6 hour train ride they told me they had sold my room already! I at least should be given a refund for paying in full and not receiving a room. Don't stay here they might not have a room for you when... More

No other hotel in Florence, let alone in central Florence, can offer the perfect rooms, the best breakfast and the most wonderful service as does the Hotel Centrale. The staff is superb. Margherita, Irene, Julia and all the staff are wonderful. Their recommendations are perfect. You can spend a lot more money but you will not find a better hotel... More

Good location, good breakfast, nice staff BUT rooms dated and shabby not at all what we expected, thought we were staying in a lovely Italian hotel but was more like a 70s 3* - disappointed. Very central so easy access to all major sites. Breakfast good choice with fresh fruit, cheese, ham, hot food and fresh omelettes to order and... More

Dear guest, thank you for choosing our hotel for your stay in Florence, we are glad to hear that you appreciated most of the services we offer to our guests. We also accept your opinion…we don’t want to argue on somebody else’s tastes of course. Anyway we just would like to explain that the hotel is inside a prestigious old... More

This hotel is very comfortable and well-appointed, and is close to the train station and the major tourist attractions. The staff were really first-rate: knowledgeable about the city and able to help out with any request. The complimentary breakfast was very diverse and a great value: kitchen staff made us crepes, cappuccinos and freshly-squeezed OJ. Highly recommended.

Great location for good price in Florence. The staff very friendly , the rooms might need a small upgrade because the aircondition should work a bit better but in the night it was ok. We enjoyed the 2 night stay very much. If you are looking for a luxury hotel this is not a good choice but if you are... More

We found the Hotel Centrale to be perfectly placed for seeing all the sights. Our room was a decent size with aircon and good wifi. The biggest plus was definitely the amazing breakfast selection including on request omelettes, crepes and fresh orange juice. It's available from 0730-1030 hrs and really sets you up for a full day of sightseeing. Only... More

Our flight from USA was 3 1/2 hours delayed and we arrived a bit harried and missed a tour of the Uffizi we had booked. Sara was at the desk and was so kind and helpful getting us checked in and calling the tour company to try an arrange a substitute tour. Unfortunately, our schedule only allowed us to stay... More

We stayed for 5 nights and was able to explore all the must see places in Florence by foot. The room was clean with AC and WIFI. Duomo is less than 5mins away from the hotel while SMN station is about 7mins. Away. Staff were very accommodating and assisted us in bringing our luggage to our room. They have a... More

Florence was our first stop on a ten day tour in Italy. We arrived off of the train and walked to the hotel, about 7-10 minute walk. (Challenging if you have large luggage. We did, total rookie mistake.) Was difficult to initially locate due to construction around hotel, but upon checking in, staff was very helpful! Staff was also very... More
