Great little hotel. Wife and I stayed here for 6 days Sept 2016. Very charming and well located. Just 20 min of leisurely walk to the old center across the Ponte Vecchio. Rooms are pretty big for European standards and very clean. Breakfast was included and was plenty. But the absolutely the best part of this hotel is its staff.... More

We stayed here for a night with our two children so we could make the most of a two day trip to Florence. The hotel was lovely, the family room on two floors was huge, comfortable and suited us perfectly. The staff were incredibly helpful, allowing us to park two full days and even printing off tickets for us that... More

Just spent 4 days there. 15 minutes to all the action. Good breakfast. Very courteous staff. Nice big clean room. Free parking on site and nice grounds to have some quiet time and a capachino. Would stay there again in a second. Short drive to other attractions in the area.

It was ok, clean with nice garden. Pleasant location, just out of the bustle, but not too far. Room was a bit dated... And shower had no edge, so half the bathroom floor flooded when using it. Basic, no major issues, but nothing to write home about

We read the reviews and saw the star rating and thought, 'Hey, we're only staying 1 night so..." Wish we stayed longer! Positives: Ground floor room was spacious with large windows, good sized bathroom and space for our serious check-in suitcases. The double-glazed windows kept out the outdoor sounds. Room was very clean and had little extras like additional blankets... More

The positives: The exterior of the hotel is impressive and it is located only a few hundred feet away from the spectacular Boboli Gardens and within walking distance (15-20 minutes) from the heart of Florence. The free parking was also a nice perk. Our room had high ceilings and shutter windows. The Receptionist who worked at night was very friendly.... More

Whilst some want to stay centrally, we decided to opt for a hotel in the leafier, quieter area by the Boboli Gardens, south of the river Arno. The hotel is indeed a classic in stature, sitting behind a huge wall in well kept gardens. It has all the charm and old world appeal we wanted. The decor is traditional and... More

This hotel is not far away from Palazzo Pitti and the city center, you need to walk 20 min and you'll be in the heart of Florence. There's a private parking place, which is pretty rare and really important in Florence. The building is a nice villa with a decent garden. Our room was normal sized and furniture was rather... More

Chose to stay here as it had parking within the hotel grounds and we weren’t disappointed. The parking was not visible from the main road, so felt very secure, also the gates are locked between 01:00 and 07:00h. Couldn’t find the hotel on our sat nav, so we made a phone call to the hotel to find that the actual... More

This is a very nice, quiet hotel, located in an old Villa, not far from Porta Romana. Service is friendly, rooms are spacious, price was fair. The only disappointment was breakfast: small selection, all cold, with low-quality yogurt, and bad cappuccino from a machine (unless you ask for the real thing from the bar!).
