This was our second stay here and it was even better than the first time. The fantastic location in the middle of town and in walking distance to all places is a bonus. The hotel itself is super nice, the rooms very functional, the view from our room was stunning and - last, but by far not least - the staff was extremely helpful, nice and professional. A great experience to hopefully soon the be repeated.
Absolutely amazing service from all aspects. Our room was not yet ready yet (we arrived before check-in time) and the front desk agent suggested we go for lunch in the meantime. We decided to eat at the hotel restaurant, which was delicious, then our waiter offered to check on our room. Our room was in fact ready, and we had even been upgraded to an amazing suite overlooking the square! Everyone at the hotel made our trip so special with their level of service, care and personal touches. The location of the hotel is by far the best in Florence and everything is walkable. The concierge was very helpful as well with booking restaurants and recommending shopping. Cannot recommend this hotel more for a trip to Florence.
Fabulous!!!! Best hotel in Florence by far. The service, location, restaurant Irene, products, decor - it’s all just wonderful! The rooms are recently renovated so feel new, also the public areas. The staff are friendly, welcoming and go out of the way to personalize your service (they are also super efficient with every request)!! Thank you for a fantastic stay and I cannot wait to come again!
Beautiful hotel. Wonderful experience! Bellmen/ valet: excellent service. The valet always had our car rental ready and ensured to we had bottles of water. It was nice of him to speak French to my husband and our son. Breakfast: The whole team during breakfast made sure we were attended to. Very warm people. Our housekeeper cleans well! She changes the sheets and ensures we have enough toiletries everyday. This can be a small detail but it’s often overlooked. She went out of her way to set up a toddler robe for our son which was a nice touch! Irene: Jean-Baptiste of Irene is an enabler. We didn’t have a reservation and the restaurant was full so he initially gave us a table inside and eventually managed to sit us at the terrace. What blew us away was when we jokingly said “we have a problem” and he immediately answered “WE’LL FIND A SOLUTION.” His can-do attitude made our whole dinner experience extra delightful. He is definitely a gem in this hotel.…
This property is incredible on so many different levels. From what I just learned, all of these employees are either part of the Rocco-Forte family or long time employees. And their service and knowledge reflects it. We called down to the desk twice and asked for two different items. Both delivered within 5 minutes and a housekeeper, with a smile, who says, “if you need anything else, let us know”. The room…..comfortable, spacious, a/c worked perfectly, VERY comfy bed. Our room faced the very busy square and we were on the 3rd floor. Window closed—you could not hear a thing. Window open—VERY loud. Food—again, outstanding service and a delightful outdoor place to eat breakfast (and other meals). Buffet breakfast but if there was anything not on the buffet—no problem, they took care of it!! Location—you can’t get any more central. 3 minute walk to the Duomo. 5 minutes to the Uffizi. 5-10 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio, Pitti Palace, Santa Maria Novella, and 15 minutes to Santa Croce. We will be back!!…
The Savoy sits in the centre of Florence close to the Ponte Vecchio. We stayed in a suite with amazing views of the Duomo. The room was beautiful with everything that you would expect of a hotel of this calibre. Whilst at the hotel I realised that I had left my iPad on the incoming flight to Pisa. The Concierge team were fantastic and did everthing possible to recover the tablet. Special mentions go to Marco, Vittorio and Roberto. If you want a luxurious hotel in the absolute centre of Florence stay here!
This hotel is all it claims to be, and more. The staff are friendly, the building and decor luxurious (without being over the top), the bed/sheets are dreamy, the food is excellent, the location perfect. All in all, this is an amazing hotel. My daughter and I only with we could have stayed longer. I thought Florence was far too crowded with so many tourists, but the respite we found at the Savoy made it all worthwhile. I'd go back to stay here (outside of peak season) in a second.
Wonderful stay in the heart of Firenze. The staff are so kind and remember us from our stays with them in the past. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Close walk to shops, sightseeing and restaurants. The breakfast is great, for lunch you must try the Spaghetti, tomato and Basil it’s spectacular!
Best location, yet quiet and luxurious rooms. Very comfortable. Casual elegance. In the center of everything. Blackout windows, very little noise from the city below. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast, attentive conceirge.
We have never experienced the level of care, attention to detail, wonderful food and absolutely fabulous staff as we did in our recent stay at the Savoy. From the moment we walked in, to the farewells when leaving, no stone was unturned in the perfection of service at this beautiful hotel Our room was very comfortable, again, the attention to detail was unbelievable. The special experiences were well planned and exciting. We can't wait to return.
