I had an incredible experience at The Savoy Florence. The executive suite has recently been renovated and has the most tasteful and elegant interiors. Everything from the service to the food to the little touches in the hotel are impeccable. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is situated in the bustling heart of the city, with luxury shops on your doorstep. I highly recommend the The Savoy and will be back again soon. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
I had been wanting to stay in this hotel for over 10 years and it did not disappoint. Even despite COVID, service was exceptional at every turn. Room service was lovely, the rooms were immaculate, and everything was perfection. The location is unparalleled, yet I did not hear any noise from my room. I sell travel and have toured plenty of hotels in Florence, and this is at the top of my list. Highly recommend!
Our long weekend stay was outstanding. Outstanding accommodation and such an exceptional warm welcome. The food, service and attention to detail delivered by the team ....be it concierges, Endrit and Andrea in the restaurant was exceptional....all elegant, yet in a casual manner which made us relax and enjoy. Love the touches of slippers for ladies, hand towels with initials and both sparkling and still water for the night! Luxury at its best and a team inspired by their GM
Yes, there are other five-star-properties in wonderful Florence, but none of them is located right in the middle of the old part of the city: The famous Ufizii, Michelangelo´s David, the Ponte Vecchio...all just a stone throw away. The service was impeccable, our suite was a design masterpiece and state of the art. No wonder that Angela Merkel stayed here. We had such a great suite, the republica suite and enjoyed the mix of old and modern design very much. On recommendation of the general manager Mr. Giancarlo.Rizzi we booked one of the very special "door opening" private visits offered by the hotel and ended up on the terrace of the Pucci-Palace, normally not open to the public, in a botanical garden over the roofs of Florence with phantastic sights of the Dome as you would never have them as a normal tourist. We thought it is a very good idea of the Savoy hotel to offer such unique experiences as an add on to the stay itself. The concierge was also very helpful and knows a lot. So all in all I think if you seek luxury right in the heart of the city of Florence this is probably the top-adress. And one more thing: We came by our own car - which is a bit of an adventure - as you have to pass pedestrian zones (which you can as a guest of the Savoy). When you arrive there is a very convenient valet service: you pass your car-key, the luggage is brought to your room and the car safely parked by the staff.…
Rocco Forte's Florentine outpost is a wonderfully stylish, central haven close to all of the city's major cultural attractions, The Hotel manages to combine the intimacy of a boutique with the service standards of a grand hotel, Elegantly furnished rooms provide a contemporary take on the Dolce Vita and are complimented by sleek marble bathrooms. Attention to detail is evident everywhere, whilst service in the hotel and the Irene restaurant are impeccable. Bravo - this is how hotels should be run.
