The property has a convenient location for walking to the city sites, with dramatic views of the River Arno and Ponte Vecchio. The service of the hotel employees made us feel very welcome and special. Our dog was given her own bed and silver water and food dishes. What a wonderful touch. I would choose this hotel again, certainly. I can't imagine any hotel fitting our needs better.

Hotel's Favorite
We had an extended stay here in one of the apartments during the winter. We loved it. The staff are the best. Authentic, personal and will do anything to ensure you're happy. Matteo the manager, Andrea the head of customer service and in fact the whole staff...restaurant, bar, doormen, IT guy...all are lovely. The hotel is located south of the river (our favourite part of Florence) but on the river within view of the Ponte Vecchio. The rooms and common spaces are beautifully done...sort of classic yacht style. When you're in the bar, which hangs over the river, you feel like you're on a cruise. Food is great. Cocktails are great. And the staff are the best. Did I mention the staff?

Perfectly located place , finished with an elegant, subtle taste, above-average polite staff. Visiting Florence and staying at Lungarno hotel is an amazing combination. The unusual experience definitely . The view from the balcony takes the breath away. The luxurious ambiance is not intrusive . Let me feel relaxed, white color as the dominant one is an ideal background for pictures, graphics and drawings. Unfortunately I had no chance to visit an exclusive hotel’s restaurant ( Michelin) but I’m sure that the total harmony , as well as in a case of the hotel, is fundamental there.

Wow... it is seldom that your expectations are beaten about a hotel reservation but this one really did. We booked the Lungarno apartment with city view for three nights in a row with a family of four (3 adults, one sixteen year old) and were thrilled about the space, decoration (we felt the Salvatore Ferragamo touch, who own the place) and location of the apartment. The location could not be better! It is situated in Borgo San jacopo, a lively street just around the corner of the Porto Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti, Palazzo Vecchio, the Duomo and... the Piazza Santo Spirito (beautiful piazza and church where you will find many young people at the apero hour) and the Oltrarno neighbourhood, one of my favorite areas with artisan shops, many restaurants and a chill non-touristic ambiance. Very nice restaurants nearby! I can recommend The Quattro Leoni (via de vellutini), trattoria la casalinga ( close to piazza Santo Spirito and Palazzo Pitti) and the Loggia in the piazzale del Michelangelo, a must-go to combine good food with a stunning sun-set view on Firenze! It is worth the climb... The apartment looks chique, is very spatious with a nice sitting area in between two perfectly separated bedrooms with each a very well-equipped bathroom. There is a small but well-equipped kitchen, very convenient for breakfast with a supermarket just around the corner. The apartment is cleaned daily as it is linked to the neighbouring Lungarno Hotel abd the Sportrait Hotel (on the other side of the river). When I go back to Firenze I will stay there again.

I must say that I very rarely write reviews... We stayed in the hotel for one night. The room was nice with a good view of Ponte Vecchio. Service in general seemed nice and helpful (especially the french lady with perfect Italian we met at the reception on the first day, the concierge attendants and waiters). The breakfast was also OK although a bit overpriced for what it was. However... our upstairs neighbours kept us awake until late at night which really ruined the whole experience. Apparently, their terrace was directly above our room and it seems that they insisted on dragging the furniture around the terrace throughout the night. The noise was unbearable. There must be literally no insulation between the floors in that area and it seems that something was actually making the sound resonate even more. After some interventions from the reception (they were helpful and don’t envy them having to deal with issues of this nature) the noise eventually became tolerable but I really do not think the hotel did enough to prevent this from happening. They could start from putting a little note and asking guests to refrain from dragging furniture on the terrace after certain time at night. Putting something rubbery under the chairs/tables could also help. I’m not even mentioning actual insulation.... I need to say that I found the whole experience extremely distressing especially because I’m heavily pregnant and was exhausted. I have stayed in probably well over hundred hotels and it’s the first time I experienced this level of noise during the night. When we mentioned the issue after check out (we were not asked how our stay was) it seemed like they were aware of the family that caused the issue but apart from an apology (felt a bit forced) really nothing was offered to compensate for that terrible experience. And I am not talking about any financial compensation. A simple tea (costs 8 euro btw)/coffe or whatever gesture would do as the night was really horrible. P.S. I don’t mind reusable sleepers which were actually of better quality than in lots of other hotels but it would be nice if they were washed before and not covered in coffee...
