I have travelled quite a bit and am used to budget hotels. Our room, which was located on the third floor, was the worst I stayed in. We were there for three nights. The air conditioning smelled of sewers so we had to keep it to a minimum. Thankfully, it wasn't July or August, so the temperatures were bearable at... More

The hotel itself is hard to find. The reception and breakfast room are very modern but the rooms themselves are very basic and tiny! Our balcony was taken up by the air con units. The gentleman at reception was very friendly and accommodating. Good to stay if budget conscious and not planning on spending too much time at the hotel.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights from 11th - 14th September. Don't be put off by the appearance of this hotel on the street. After you go through the door there is a lift to take you to the 5th floor. When you step out of the lift you should be pleasantly surprised. The reception and breakfast... More

The hotel is basic but that's not the problem! The smell inside the room is terrible! Smell like sewer! I complain at the first day and nothing happened! It's the second night in this terrible room that I couldn't even sleep well because the strong smell (it's terrible)! I went to complain again and the guy said the it's impossible... More

Beautifully clean and in a perfect location for exploring Florence. All main attractions within walking distance which was brilliant and close to main train station. A little difficult to find on a street littered with hotels but felt very secure once inside. Roof terrace had an amazing view however not made the most of within the hotel. Great base and... More

The hotel is located close to the train station and has a lift, so no need to carry bags up five flights. The staff were generally pleasant and the breakfast was decent, although not as much variety as some other hotels. The room itself was not large, but it was mostly quiet and we had enough room to store our... More

Hotel Cantoria was about a 5 min walk from the SMN Train station, it was pretty easy to find. The hotel is located on the 5th floor of the building. It's been renovated and had a modern all white decor with a slash of color. The room was a decent size and had space. My only con was we had... More
