One of the worst places I've ever stayed, even after many years of travelling. The guy charged me a 2.50 Euro "city tax" in spite of the fact that I'd booked on Hostelworld and been told that the price included all taxes. I was put in a room marked "private", which I shared with a woman whose makeup had a... More

My sister and I turned up here and it didnt even look like a hotel, but we thought its pouring rain and we should give it a chance. We payed up front €11 each a night. Plus we had to pay €5 for wifi as its NOT free and then €2 a night city tax which its only meant to... More

We do not remember exactly this customer, but we can say that what it claims is bogus. The lady was the old management, now runs a new organization. We suggest you to visit us to experience our new look. Staff More

This place is as bad, if not worse, than the other reviews say. The cranky old woman that runs the place is CONSTANTLY yelling at the people who stay. They have a curfew that means they are either locking you out or locking you in. Yes, locking you in. The rooms are not clean and the nonstop smoking from the... More

The lady was referred to by a client, not the manager, however, we have moved away from the hostel, because it did not fit with our policy. For the bathroom we installed the locks from the inside. staff. Otedis Garibaldi More

In was a holiday trip in Florence. We arrived to the city late, but manager of the hostel was waiting for us. First night we had in a tent in the garden, which about I was not that happy, but on the morning we got a nice double room for the same price as a tent, where we were staying... More

The tents we change often, we have many different solutions for customers. As for the bugs, we applied earlier in the season pest of a whole area dedicated to the customers to avoid what she said. The connection is excellent in all areas. As for entry, we applied a door with automatic entry, keep in mind that we apply restrictive... More

Do not stay here EVER, not even if you are homeless. Okay from the top... We booked our "camping " through the hostel bookers website (reviews lie). It was sold to us as a lush green garden for camping, what we arrived too was a mosquito infested brown dark dirt patch, however there were 2 spots to choose from! When... More

Dirty, no aircondition, no minibar, no chair in room, no table in room, dirty wardrobe, bed linnen seemed to be used before, the reception is a... More

We stayed in this hostel our last night in Florence and we'd chosen it due to its proximity to airport, because we had a early flight next morning, (and its actually 5 min walk) Well, the hostel in general is in very poor conditions, the photos from the web does not match the reality, as you will see from the... I’m just gonna get right into this review. My friend and I just spent one week in Florence, and we stayed at Garibaldi’s. We thought it was our responsibility as fellow travelers to write a very detailed and informative review for potential guests. Lets start off with the basics. Now, going into this, we realized that this place wasn’t going... More

I was at the hostel I was fine. I am a trader and I often go in Florence. The accommodation is located in a commercial area and near the airport. You can easily reach airport and walking distance from the hotel is 5 minutes without the use of taxis. Managers are polite and waiting for customers until late. Unfortunately, it... More
