This award winning luxury hotel, located on the rolling hills of Fiesole, offers the most spectacular views of Florence. Accommodations range from the Villa Rooms, the Green House Suites and our Signature Suites. Each offer a very different experience but all have inspiring views of either our private park, the Tuscan landscape or the famous Duomo view of Florence. This Amazing centuries old villa is 20 minutes from the heart of Florence . Set on magnificent grounds, the small hotel is a dream. The rooms are magnificent, large and updated. When you venture from your room visit the grand salon for a chat or grab a book from their library. sit outside on the patio which overlooks Florence and the top of the duomo. Breakfast is included and is a gourmet buffet with an option to add foods. We sat on the terrace every morning basking in the hills and views. This is a romantic dream setting!

Our second stay with Il Salvatino We have been waiting for opening of this place after their 2 years being closed. It is our top location while visiting Florence- you have got views / a lot of space/ car parking/ quiet and peace! This time we had probably the loveliest apartment newly redesigned- with big windows and breathtaking view over the Florence The only downgrade of this hotel was a food - during our first visit food quality was better. So far this is still our top of the notch place in Florence with the best value/price ratio

I had high expectations, and Il Salviatino exceeded every expectation I had. The hotel is absolutely incredible. It felt like we had our very own private mansion in the Tuscan hills. The hotel grounds and rooms were incredible. We highly recommended the greenhouse suites! The staff made the experience one in a lifetime. From the concierge helping pre-arrival, to Gabriel, Camille, Christian and others in the bar and restaurant, and Laura at the spa -- everyone was simply excellent, and went out of their way to create the most wonderful experience. If you are considering booking this hotel, you will not regret it!! Also -- The restaurant on site was spectacular! We ended up dining there all three nights!

It is very refreshing to stay in an individual and independently owned hotel . It does in someways make it hard to compare and review benchmark hotels that I have previously stayed in . I can only review it on my own personal thoughts. You approach the hotel up a long and winding drive not appreciating the stunning look of the Villa . A lovely welcome awaited us . The view from the restaurant terrace overlooking Florence is breathtaking and the food from their small menu was delightful, quite possibly the finest club sandwich I have ever eaten . The service through out our stay was perfect with a special shout out to Christiano by the pool who was so sweet and very attentive. Each of the bedrooms are very different in size and style. We got to see a few of them as we were staying with a number of friends. Our room overlooking the side of the property seemed like it had been recently updated , but the other rooms we saw were equally as nice. The location of the hotel is perfect , Tuscan surroundings yet 12 minutes in a cab to the centre of Florence. In my opinion there is no need to stay in the centre of the city when you could be staying at Il Salviatino and having the best of both worlds. A delightful spacious character property with discrete and attentive service moments from the crowded bustling city of Florence. What’s not to look !?…

This is a must when in Florence! The property is gorgeous and you truly feel like you are on an Italian holiday. It is about a 10-minute drive from city-center, but the hotel provides a shuttle. The shuttle driver, Alessandro, is amazing and a true gentleman. After a long day of sight seeing, this is the perfect place to just relax and enjoy the rest of your day. The staff is incredible. Alex (Alejandro) was incredible and so hospitable. Every single person at the hotel is so kind and just wants you to have a wonderful stay. Gabriel, the bartender and a jack of all trades, makes a great drink and is also so kind. Their breakfast is a must! You cannot beat the view and the selection is heavenly. A cup of coffee in the morning with a view of the Duomo—-there is nothing more you can ask for. We cannot wait to come back!…

Wow! That sums up our stay at Il Salviatino! The hotel is perched and overlooking the historical city of Florence with the Duomo dominating the view. On arrival, we were looked after by Paul, the concierge. He was so friendly but always remained professional. All the staff were so friendly. Nico looked after us during most mealtimes and deserves a special mention too! Our double deluxe room was big and very spacious with very tall windows overlooking the beautiful gardens at the front of the hotel. The bed was so comfy with a great mix of pillows to suit all. The air-conditioned room was much-needed as it was so hot. Our stay was based on room and breakfast but we chose to eat at the restaurant a number of times as the quality of the food was fantastic as was the wine menu! The hotel offers a free shuttle service to the historic centre which was great. The driver was so friendly and helpful. He was so patient allowing me to speak the little Italian that I have learned. We had breakfast served in our room one morning as we arrived back at the hotel so late after the Andrea Bocelli concert...at 1.45am!! Lovely to be spoilt like that though!! The breakfasts were always delicious with plenty of choice. We used the swimming pool a few times. Lovely heated pool with helpful staff providing us with towels on arrival and drinks too! Me and my girlfriend had the most wonderful stay at Salviatino. It was a true inspiration to walk around the property as everything is so well thought through. Our room was big and spacious with the most comfortable bed. We received a warm welcome and all staff was great, especially Gabriele working at the pool area, making sure we had everything we needed before we even knew it ourselves. Also, a massage is a must! The masseuse was incredible. We will definitely come back!

Outstanding views location and service if you don’t want to be right in the top of a mall and see some beautiful view and enjoy the quiet in Florence This is the place that’s besides that it’s absolutely stunning outside and inside with nature trails to walk and birds too
