We had a wonderful last evening eating here with fantastic view of the Pontevechio Bridge. Carpaccio octopus and tuna tartare were lovely, pasta and risotto was excellent and the Tuscan steak was rare and tasty. Not cheap but given the location and the food would definitely come again. Lovely evening!

Best meal we've had since in Italy. Pretty much everywhere you eat is good, if it's a bad place it's averse. Well this one es above and beyond. Seriously. The waiter was super attentive and kind. He had an excellent wine suggestion. The caprese salad was good (with grape tomatoes not the usual ones) the risotto with foie gras out... More

Great views of the River with very well made food. The ragu and the pesto were both terrific and not too pricey. With no alcohol and service we paid €28 per head but the food was very good! Being slightly off the busy tourist route, it was so nice to go during the day and have a little piece of... More

My husband and I were walking over the "Ponte Vecchio bridge" and we saw this restaurant overlooking the bridge & water. We had to try this place out. Without any reservations, we were placed at superb seat overlooking the water and bridge. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was great. Would definitely recommend checking this place out while... More

We walked over " the bridge" and took a left just looking around when we saw this restaurant just opening for lunch. What a find! The view during the day was wonderful! I can't imagine what it must be like at night!! The waiter was helpful and we ordered a marvelous bottle of wine on his recommendation (Cervaro della Salla... More

My son lives in Florence now so on his recommendation went by for "apperitivo", think Happy Hour on steroids. I really liked the place so I had our hotel make s reservation. If you want a table along the back wall with a view across the Arno this is a must. The view was great, the food even better. I... More

We requested a table overlooking the river on jazz night and were not disappointed. The food was excellent and our standards were high after some other amazing food we had tasted. The main reason for giving 4 rather than 5 rating was because the waiter was constantly trying to up-sell whatever we ordered. For instance we ordered a bottle of... More

Went with friends for 21st birthday. Made a reservation by the window, which was definitely worth it. The view was of the Arno was amazing. We ate aperitivo. For drinks we ordered the number 3 and 4. They were delicious! The food was various cheeses, olives, and tomatoes. They gave us a sample of some chicken in a tasty cream... More

Here for a meal on a Saturday night last week. Emailed a reservation ahead of time and asked for a window view which was exactly what we got. Very friendly staff and service and we thought the food was very good. The florentine steak was the perfect size for two of us and cooked just how we asked. They do... More

Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
