Such a wonderful place to stay. Elisabetta was amazing when greeting us and suggesting places to visit. Most everything thing was available to us even a phone to make local calls which made calling a taxi easy. Breakfast was great, the chocolate cake was to die for! My only negative would be the several flights of stairs - quite difficult... More

Wow! What an amazing B&B. The hosts were amazingly welcoming. The rooms are so well decorated and thoughtfully put together. The location couldn't be better with all the main streets right outside the door. A bonus is he legendary pizza place called Gustopizza. This is one place I will be recommending to all my friends.

Lovely b&b with great owners, even before we arrived they were helping with how to get to them. The rooms are basic but have everything you need, are very comfortable, spacious and clean. The location is perfect, 10 min walk from the centre and right near the hill to Michelangelo's piazza which you have to do at sunset. The best... More

Absolutely lovely BnB in the heart of Florence, but away from the hoards of tourists (even if we are also tourists!). The reviews previous are not wrong, this is a lovely place to stay. The host is lovely and lives next door so is available when needed. When arriving she was very helpful, giving lots of tips and instructions as... More

We stayed in the Orange room which was great. It was very large and had a lovely wooden beamed roof and large, comfortable bed. The owner of the B&B, Elisabetta, was very friendly and helpful when we checked in and she lives next to the B&B so is on hand to help out, if needed. The breakfast is relatively basic... More

My husband found this B & B as we had previously visited Florence and stopped in a residential area, which lacked character and personal Italian charm. This accommodation couldn't have been better placed, this is a great part of Florence. Over the river from all the hustle and bustle of the tourist attractions, but in a chic, classic area, with... My family of 3 enjoyed the 3 nights we stayed here. This B&B is in a good location in the Oltrarno. It's a short walk to the Ponte Vecchio and about 10 minutes to the main train station. There are lots of restaurants close by of various price ranges, and it's just meters from the Palazzo Pitti and Boboli Gardens.... More

This review should have come a year ago. We spent four nights at this B&B in October 2014. Located on the fourth floor of an old palace, (third floor for Italians), this B&B is a block and a half from the Pitti Palace and four blocks from the Ponte Vecchio. It has two rooms and a small dining room. The... More

We stayed her 3 nights, in Sep 2015, and absolutely loved our stay. This b & b currently has 2 rooms- one called the orange room, and the other, the green. It is in a historical building, and initially we couldn't believe we were staying in a real Tuscan/Florentine building, as the doors, and entryway are just amazing. We stayed in... More

We booked this due to good feedback on tripadvisor, and we were not disappointed, it is located in a residential area so you get that feeling of not being a tourist even though you are. We tried to book the orange room but it was booked(even though we booked in March) so we had the smaller green room so if... More

Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
