Rooms are a bit small but fine overall. Location is exceptional. We booked a triple and a double room but there wasn't enough space for our luggage in the triple room. My main concern here is the staff- terrible check out experience. We were basically being hounded and harassed to leave the room during checkout at 11am while the lady...

We have been staying at Palazzo Benci every November for the past 17 years. We are made so comfortable and so welcome that we should simply not enjoy the delights of Florence at all if we had to stay somewhere else. The owners, Raffaella and Andrea Braccia are so helpful and professional, people for whom nothing is too much trouble....

I never imagined myself signing up to tripadvisor to write a review, but the treatment I had during my stay here compelled me to warn others. Booker beware: Checked into this hotel with a booking for a triple room. Arrived to find only two of the three towels so we asked reception if we could have the third towel. The...

The staff is really friendly and the breakfast was very nice with the usual continental offerings plus little meat sandwiches, cheeses and liverwurst but the rooms and bathrooms are very small and dark. Maybe because I got a single room, but even so it felt like a slightly larger cruise ship cabin. Nice dual windows to keep the noise out....

Overpriced. Location, breakfast, staff. Experienced staff, willing to support you and make your stay pleasant. After presenting the arguments, I was moved to another room and there were no issues for the rest of stay (try to avoid room 310). Building is old, so some cracks on walls can be expected, well preserved, silent, my windows was on inside yard....

I stayed at this hotel for one weekend and would definitely stay there again. The staff is very, very helpful and friendly, The location is fantastic, everything is nearby, you can also go back to the (nicely airconditioned) hotel room for a quick rest and then go out again. The rooms are small, but clean. The hotel itself has some...

The hotel seems like it was the swankiest place around in 1965, but it hasn't been updated much since then. The general sense of the maintenance was that it is not good, so the elevator scared me. The bed was two hard single beds pushed together without a topper, so you couldn't sleep in the middle where the two edges...

The hotel has a great location next to the Medici Chapel, and within a short walk to all other Florence hot spots. The room I had was very simple, but clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and very service minded, and breakfast is served in an adjacent room in an old Florentine palazzio. They have a deal with nearby garage,...
