Well all i can say is i was very impressed. i have only ever stayed in a hostel back in my teens, I'm in my 30's now and used to more refined accommodation. However i was blown away with Room 5 in this hostel with its comfort and styling. First of all I will point out that it is hard... More

We loved this place when we first got there: great location couldn't get closer to the duomo for how cheap it was. Everything went downhill from there. The AC never reached the loft we were sleeping on, so we sweat all night long. The "breakfast" was coffee and tiny cookies. Staff was rude and hardly spoke English. Kicked everyone out... More

After arriving on our overnight train, we made out way to the hostel. My friends and i were understanding of the check in time at 2pm so when we arrived at 8am we were expecting to freshen up, leave our bags in the baggage room and explore florence until check in. Wowee were we in for a surprise. We were... More

The place is super well located and there is breakfast included. However the room wasn't well cleaned and the air co didn't work properly. The noise from the streets are loud so the room I was in wasn't the best option. Wifi works ok.

Great location right near the centre! But my favourite part was the wonderful and helpful staff. The breakfast was either cereal or toast and coffee. Stay here for a easy time in Florence. Cute bedroom decor and newish bathroomfacilities! Be away it is right in the tourist area and so food in this area is extremely over priced. Wonder over... More

Mati at the reception was very lovely and sweet. By far one of the best hosts ever. The hostel itself was fairly clean and quiet, conveniently located near the train station. Our room had a nice partial view of the Florence Cathedral and the bathroom was quite big and clean. The downsides were few although they were there. For example,... More

I was upgraded to a larger room which was a plus. The staff were very friendly with breakfast put on each morning. The hostel is centrally located and a short walk to food, leather markets, the main shopping district as well as plenty of tourist spots. The wifi wasn't that great but did work. The hostel is up three very... More

Good location. Comfortable non-bunk beds. Not enough power points. Broken toilet seat. Sufficient hostel breakfast (coffee, biscuits, toast, jams). Borderline rude staff. Weird loud noises in the morning, possibly the hot water units. Yes, there are stairs.

The hostel is located directly in the center of Florence near all the major attractions, markets, train and bus stations. The hostel offers free breakfast which includes only toast, ginger cookies and coffee/tea but when it is free- you can't really complain. It is very clean due to the fact that they have a 3 hour lockout period- which they... More
