My friend and I had a lovely, relaxing stay here in June 2016. Barbara and Luigi are the most wonderful, attentive and kind hosts. They really made us feel at home. We would definitely come back! Situated in a quiet area right next to the Porto Romana and beautiful Boboli gardens, this is an ideal retreat from the hustle and... More

The hosts were wonderful and helped me out when I ran into a big problem. They were gracious and kind and made us feel like old friends. The rooms are lovely and peaceful, and the location is good, just on the outskirts of Florence with very good bus transportation. We had a lovely room with a terrace where we could... More

This B and B deserves its wonderful reviews. Located in a lovely residential area, it is a 15 minute walk to the river. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean. Breakfast is served in their beautiful living/dining room with relaxing classical music. We had no issues whatsoever with noise, although our room faced the back. Our hosts, Barbara and Luigi... The building is located next to the south gate of Florence. Fifteen - twenty minutes of walking and you are in the historic center. The room is lovely and quiet with a view of the walls. Our hosts were really helpfull and polite and made our stay there more pleasant. If you travel by car there is a private parking... More

Barbara and Luigi were amazing hosts, it felt like going to visit a family member that you absolutely adored. The room was wonderful, spacious and had a patio. They have set breakfast times, understandably , but we had 2 early mornings that started well before, Barbara or Luigi were up and had coffee and food even though we asked them... More

The hosts were a lovely couple and their son who all did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The BnB is in a very homely environment, breakfast in the living room with vinyl LP playing classical music. The room we stayed in is attached to a terrace facing the courtyard and you cannot hear the busy street on the other... More

We visited La Terrazza Su Boboli on our honeymoon. Luigi and Barbara were fantastic hosts! They had very helpful advice for us about where to visit during our stay in Florence, and also helped us plan the details of our bus trip to Siena. Our room and was beautiful (so was the rest of their home), and breakfast was delicious... More

Everything is great about this B&B! Location is very adequate for exploring the city; about 15 minutes walking to Ponte Vecchio and about 30 seconds to the Boboli gardens! The building itself is breathing grandeur; inside a very well decorated commom room (where you have the nice and -for italian standards- elaborate breakfast, accompagnied by some nice grammophone music selected... La Terrazza Su Boboli is such a beautiful oasis of calm to come 'home' to after all the walking that you end up doing in Firenze. The rooms (I stayed in #1) are large and well-decorated, the ensuite is modern and very clean. Our hosts were so friendly, showing us how to get around, advising on what to see etc.... More

Luigi and Barbera could not be more gracious hosts. We had a Spacious room next to the road which had excellent double glazing which made the traffic noise barely audible so they may have acted on previous reviews. The room was very nice with a good shower and ensuite and breakfast was good with good coffee. Our hosts could not... More
