Location is a true diamond, close to all great Florence attractions. Owner was nice and helpfull. Room was quite interasting - vintage furniture, mirrors and replicas of Rafaelo and Pompei wall paintings. But when it comes down to bathroom the interesting part becomes even more interasting, unfortunately, in negative way - more mirrors, that you could not see yourself clearly,... More

Beautiful and smooth stay. Close to many local attractions and comfortable. It's always nice to find a good place to stay and rest while traveling. This particular place seemed to have it all. Easy to get around also! Would definitely stay again! 💎💎💎💎💎

The location is amazing! close to every touristic places in Florence. We just needed transport from where we managed to park for free, in piazzale Michelangelo, but any other place you can do it by foot. The room number 1 was big, but the bathroom was a bit tight, the water from the shower was hard to balance between cold... More

My sister and I spent almost a week in this hotel and the room was beautiful and stylish , Excellent friendly service. The host very helpful with maps and directions. Also schedule time for museums. Walk in distance for most of the attractions.

Our room was large with a hotplate and kitchenette. The A/C control was taken away by the manager because it was deemed "too early in the year" for it. The fan control was also on the control so we couldn't use that either. Hotel was convenient. Wood floors but not too clean. Shower was the smallest I ever was in.... More

The issue with this hotel is that it should not be labeled as a bed and a breakfast because there is no breakfast. It should not be labeled as a hotel either because there is no lobby, no receptionist, or any other hotel qualities. This place should be labeled as an apartment because it is just that. Upon arrival we... More

Very small hotel 5 mn walking from the duomo of Florence, very spacious room but the bathroom in not clean enough and we hear everything that happens in the hotel. Parking space is 23€ for the night, and it is very complicated to find a correct parking space in the city center

a horrible experience. all those negative reviews are truthful. I was so disappointed in this B&B. This has to be the worse place I have stayed. It is dingy and musty smelling and not very clean. On arrival at the B&B there is no receptionist to greet you. You have to telephone and someone appears 10-15 minutes later to check... More

This is a dirty and cluttered place filled with unnecessary junk & plastic flowers! The beds are two uncomfortable cots pushed together. The hot water did not work one day and the bathroom smelled of sauerkraut emanating from a drain. Absentee-Owner Lititzia brought us a lemon spray to mask the horrible odor after knocking on our door at an inappropriate... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
