My Mom and I spent 2 nights at this B&B in early November, 2016 and we couldn't have been more pleased. We felt completely taken care of from the moment we arrived until the second we left. They were so friendly and helpful in every way. We were also able to purchase our bus tickets directly from them. Huge plus!...

We loved the atmosphere! The food was great with lots of variety on the menu. There was a lovely view of the square. It is nice that they have heaters for cooler weather. The staff were friendly. I would go again!

After our stay in Italy, we needed lodging for our last night that was close to the airport for an early morning departure. This B&B is located in a neighborhood which was a nice change of pace. Lorenzo and Lara were great at communicating directions by bus from the train station. Lorenzo warmly met us and offered us water or...

Lorenzo met us right when he said he would at the building and brought us inside and gave us all of the information we needed for the room and a great deal more about visiting all of the sights in Florence. The room was good sized with a daybed, desk, and chair to go along with our bed. Our room...

We stayed at Il Grillo for four nights and were very happy with our decision to choose it. The location is fine and it is really easy to reach the center with a bus stop really close by. Our room was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, and the shower and the air conditioner all worked well. The breakfast did...

This was our second visit to Florence and our second time to stay at this marvelous B&B. IL Grillo is owned and operated by the most amazing couple, Lara and Lorenzo. When we were here two years ago we knew we had found not only a great place to stay, but also two wonderful new friends. So, this time it...

Amazingly helpful and friendly staff. They are happy to provide recommendations for the area, including where to go, where to eat and how to get around. The room was comfortable and perfectly suited to myself, a solo traveler.

B&B Il Grillo Firenze provided an ideal accommodation for our travel budget. When we arrived we were greeted by one of the proprietors, Lorenzo, whose warm welcome included a helpful orientation for navigating the city. Service throughout our stay could not have been more considerate or attentive. Our family of four stayed comfortably in a simple, clean and bright room...

Everything about our stay here was perfect. The communication was good, it was easy to reach from the train station by bus (we even walked once). When we got there we met Lorenzo, who was very hospitable and gave us a lot of information once we were settled in. We were also able to buy bus tickets from him which...
