Simple B&B run extremely well. Evelyne is a wonderful hostess. She treated us like royalty. Try to spend a little time in the garden--what a peaceful little enclave. This is also a part of the city that's set off from the touristy section, which makes it feel more like authentic Florence.

Lovely small and charming B&B hosted by the friendly and helpful Evelyne. Our room overlooked the wonderful shared garden - complete with cat! We would definitely love to stay here again if we return to Florence.

We have been guests of Evelyne's at Emily's Rooms each year since 2009. When we plan our trip, we do not even consider staying anywhere else in Firenze ! Evelyn has always taken such great care of us on each visit from the moment we arrive until we have to say farewell. The rooms are beautifully decorated, immaculate and very...

Emily’s Rooms are set within a beautiful building furnished with lovely things and the accommodation is very clean. We booked it because the location is great and the garden looks appealing on the booking website, definitely a selling point for us. Unfortunately, our experience was not a positive one. We booked the basement apartment because it looked and sounded ideal...

Lovely room very spacious, brain new renovated with an in-suite design bathroom. Emily was very friendly and helpful. She recommend us two restaurants and both were delicious. We will go back there if we come back to Florence.

We stayed at Emily's rooms for 4nights and loved it. First of all, the room itself was very nice. There are a few rooms in a building a little out of the main tourist area (but still very walkable to everything) which have been converted into self-contained rooms with bathrooms. We stayed in one that looked out into the garden....

My wife and I stayed here for three nights in October 2013 as our base for exploring Florence, and we are glad that we did. We had the apartment room in the basement area, which consisted of a kitchen, entry area with a couch (that looked like it could be used to sleep on), a bedroom with a large bed...

An extraordinary place- step off Florence's sweltering streets into the grand, cool entrance of this historical building. The rooms are large and thoughtfully decorated with fantastic high ceilings. It's a small point but the shower was amazing, and there is a beautiful garden complete with a friendly cat. It's just off the beaten track and near to the excellent Kitsch...

Our first visit to Florence was perfect thanks to the hospitality we received at Emily's Rooms. The garage parking for the car was a godsend, the welcome we received i.e. coffee and homemade cake in the garden was lovely. The room with the wonderful painted ceiling and luxury bathroom was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was amazing (do not miss the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Emily’s Rooms is located in the area of Florence called Piazza Beccaria. A luminous common living room welcomes guests, opening to a cozy green garden, quite a rarity in Florence! After a day at the museums one can rest in the lounge chairs or sit at the tek wood table under a flowering gazebo. Emily’s Rooms is tastefully decorated with a mix of modern, classical (look at the frescoed ceilings!), and ethnic design. When the B&B is full Evelyn enjoys offering guests an aperitivo before dinner time in the living room or in the garden allowing guests to get to know each other (and her!) and share experiences. ... more   less

“Don't go for the basement apartment if you want access to the garden as there is no direct access. There is only one way in and out and this is via a set of dark stone stairs (as seen in the photo)”
