We passed this place by chance and were lucky to find a room. It is a beautifully refurbished old farm with all you need to pamper yourself. Big pool in the garden from where you have a great view of the hilltop town of Cortona. We had a very nice late dinner in the yard of the restaurant and in...

This is a good location and easily accessible. The buildings are typically 19th Century with beautifully maintained gardens and Cyprus trees. The welcome was warm, and checked in easily. Our room was big and comfortable, with a large modern bathroom. We enjoyed a' Master Chef 'candel lit dinner which was memorable. The continental breakfasts were of good quality and quantity.

Went for a long weekend with a friend. We booked a suite which was enormous and very clean. The bathrooms were well equipped and great. Staff here mostly speak English and went out their way to make sure we were looked after. On the Saturday we walked up to cortona - a lovely walk but only do if you really...

Very nice hotel with great value if booked in advance. Provided breakfast was great and we had easy access for day trips to Florence, Assisi and Siena, not to mention Cortona as well. I imagine the grounds in summer and the pool would be amazing place to see.

Hello, Very nice family run hotel close to Cortona. Stayed here for 4 nights after winning the stay in a charity auction. Room was spacious and nice. Pool was very nice as well. The restaurant in my opinion was not greta and rather expensive. There are far nicer and cheaper options in Cortona.

I contacted Alessandro back in January to enquire about having our wedding there and was advised that they didn't have their prices so to make contact again in September. I waited patiently and e-mailed again in September, e-mails were ignored and when chased they just asked for the same information previously provided. We really wanted to get married at Cortona...

This hotel was gorgeous. The grounds were really beautiful. Excellent food at the hotel restaurant. lovely looking pool but it was too cold to go in. Fabulous and spacious room. Breakfast was terrific. The room could have used a touch more lighting.

We spent an afternoon just lounging at the beautiful pool enjoying a great view of Cortona up on the hill. We stayed in the Locanda, not the apartments, and the room was basic, but large and very comfortable. The grounds are beautiful. The staff is very helpful. It's down the hill a bit from the main town; not far, but...

We travelled all over Italy before settling here for the week, so we had plenty of stays in other accommodation. Our 12 year old son had a room and en-suite of his own, which was a nice surprise. The setting is superb and Cortona (you need transport to get there) is not far away but is certainly worth a visit...

Unfortunately the hotel was booked and we could not extend our stay. We won't make that mistake again. Had intended for a 2 day, one night Cortona day trip from Florence and we just fell in love with this place. The grounds, the room (we had a 2 bdrm suite), the staff, the pool... Glorious. 1 mile walk from train...
