The Agriturismo Pratovalle is in the heart of the Valdichiana, in an interesting natural environment, surrounded by places imbued in history like the Etruscan Cortona. The farmhouse is surrounded by a large garden with olive, cypress and other types of tree, where each apartment has its own external space equipped with a table and chairs for eating outside. To one side of the garden, in a position where it is exposed to the sun all day, there is a beautiful swimming pool.

We stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The structure is small and quiet with a beautiful swimming pool. There are so many places to visit nearby and some nice restaurants too. The apartment was spacious and extremely clean with a lovely veranda outside where we ate dinner in the evenings. The owners are very friendly and we enjoyed a dinner offered by them along with the other families who were staying there. I'd definitely come back.

It's my third time here and fell in love with it. The view is amazing, the area is very quiet and the owners are very hospitable people. They also organize a weekly dinner for all guests to get to know each other and you get to taste the amazing cooking skills of Michele. The houses are very roomy and always super clean. The airco also is easily able to cool the house down to comfortable temperature. There is a pool large enough for everyone and comfortable chairs to your your tan on. We brought or dog with us this last year and she had a blast walking all over the place. The only bad thing I could possibly say about it is the terrible wifi but I figure that's just to convince us to go out and enjoy Italy.

Its a nice little place with great staff, you will feel like home. Though heating had issues but we never asked them to fix it. you need a car to explore around and must not rely on google maps to reach here.

Situated in the beautiful countryside, surrounded by olive trees, fig trees, and lush fields, you'll have a relaxing vacation. The hosts were so friendly and eager to share with you their organic produce. I've never tasted such fresh vegetables and fruits, out of this world. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The only downside was every night there were small black bugs on the floor and sometimes on the bed, too. I guess this is inevitable in the countryside. Wifi signal was quite weak in the bedrooms.

Amazing time, the only regret was having to leave. Love the peace of the place, the views, the sunsets, the villa is comfortable and very cozy, super clean. But best of all are the hosts Miguel and Carla. They even cooked an unbelievable Italian dinner for us on our last night. Can't wait to go back in the summer to enjoy the beautiful pool and next time I'll stay longer. Thanks to Miguel and Carla again and I recommend this place to anyone looking for some R & R in beautiful Toscana.

Quiet place and pleasant atmosphere. Great location and surroundings. Perfect place to visit all Tuscan villages and Umbria. The accomodation is just wonderful, the owner Michelle and his wife Carla are great. All rooms are equipped with care and in beautiful tuscan style, very clean. All the atmosphere there is wonderful, we are always sad to return back home.

We were a group of nine that were looking for an authentic Tuscan experience. This truly what we got. Our trip was kicked off by an extremely hospitable Michele and his wife hosting us to a home made meal. Michele spent time with us explaining his farm, wine making, and olive oil making. Through out the course of the trip Michele did many little things to enrich our experience and give us stories for years to come, such as giving us home made preserves and taking us to the plant where they make the olive oil. Even though very little conversation was shared (language barriers), we were made to feel at home. The place was as clean as it could get and in perfect working order. As for the location we had spectacular views, we could see both Cortona and many working Tuscan fields that looked beautiful with the sunrises and sunsets we were privileged to. We were able to access some amazing towns such as Cortona, Montepulciano, and Siena, Florence and Rome with ease. These are towns enriched with history, culture and great food and wine. By locating ourselves here we were able to make the most of each day with short and easy car rides or train trips (From Camucia or Torantola). My wife and myself have had several over seas travels, but this one was special in the amount of hospitality.

It was very difficult to say goodbye to such a lovely place. Michele and his wife were the most gracious hosts. Michele had a gift for us each morning when we woke (pepper jelly, vino, figs). Daphne, the family Golden Retriever, greeted us every morning. Beauty was all around us. Even though I had an unfortunate accident prior to arriving and was unable to walk the entire time I was there, Michele had a wheelchair waiting for me and I was surrounded with good friends to help ease my pain and stress. We were able to relax around the pool and Michele gave my husband herbs and vegetables from his garden so that he could cook a wonderful meal for us. Michele cooked two meals for us while we were there and they were both molto buono! The rooms are spacious and clean. This location is excellent and very close to many beautiful Tuscan hill towns. There were six in our group and we all love, love , love this place. As we drove away it was difficult to keep from crying. The ultimate compliment I can pay: It felt like home to me. This Tuscan trip has not been crossed off my bucket list. It has been updated to read I will return to Agristurismo Pratovalle without a wheelchair. Thank you Michele and Carla for being such gracious hosts!
